Thanks a lot for writing to us! The service experience is pleasant so far. They have always fixed the issues properly. So no complaints whatsoever. I have no idea about Eureka Forbes, but with this product we always get the right support. In fact once we register a service call the company sends us an SMS, warning us of potential fraud and advises us to ask for ID of the technicians and check if they are wearing the AO smith branded uniforms. Technicians order parts only through the company app. So you always get the right people and genuine parts. Kindly note registering a complaint/service call by phone to their customer care number works better than app-based service request. Technicians usually show up within a day of calling. Kindly note these things vary from one city to another. Without AMC a full set filter replacement costs 7000. AMC covers filter replacements and other problems too. one year AMC costs 5800.

There is a dedicated steel container inside this purifier for storing hot water. You can refer the product literature available online and verify this.

The fact that you spoke to a salesperson and got back to me demanding more clarity says a lot about the effort you put into research before buying a product, and I respect that. Ok, here is the thing. I'm not that different when it comes to doing my pre-purchase research. Before I buy something, I don't read just product reviews but also all kinds of product literature, including brochures, catalogues and even user manuals. In fact I had the same concerns that you have, and I bought this one only after finding my answers. So, I can confidently say this product indeed has a 0.8L metal tank to store hot water. So, the ones you interacted with didn't provide you with the right info either because they didn't know about AO Proplanet P6, or they want to sell you something else.

If you want something more expensive, you'll have to get a Samsonite...and maybe a Tumi McLaren Carbon Fibre backpack to complement it 😅

Unfortunately, no. There’s a model in LG that does that. But electricity consumption of such models will be really high…you have to count such a product as a fridge, complete with compressor and all. It’s not worth the high running cost (if i’m not wrong, the upfront cost of that LG model is above 45K). It’s better to fill the bottles and place them in the fridge. 🙂

Change always takes time. When you are used to doing things in a certain way, for a short period of time, it will be hard to do those same things in a different way. But you will get used to it quite soon. When we first bought this dishwasher in 2012, we didn’t have a reference as to how to use it. We didn’t know how to stack the vessels, how much detergent to use and all. That’s because we didn’t know anyone using dishwasher in our town; nor could we get proper demo videos then. Even during installation we had issues; the water pressure in our plumbing was not enough; so the machine was not drawing enough water to start the cycle. But once we got it running and once we learnt how to use it properly after using for a month, things changed. Now that you have so many resources online, and you get far better service and support from companies, you will have a smooth sailing and you will be able to make good use of your dishwasher real soon. When we went to buy this model 12 years ago, we noticed in the catalogue that the same model had four different variants (with same model number but with different suffixes). Each variant had a unique special mode. Only one of those 4 variants had a dedicated half-load mode, but not ours. this is because we did not have any preferences then, considering dishwasher was not so common, and we placed the order for whichever model was readily available. So the variant we got doesn't have the half-load mode. Instead of that, our dishwasher has a special "party mode". The party mode is aimed at giving a quick wash when we host a party or get together, where many people participate and dishes, bowls and vessels need to be quickly cleaned and reused for the next round of servings. This mode cleans a full load but gives a quick wash within 20 mins. But it is not a deep cleaning mode meant for heavily stained cooking vessels. It is only for plates, spoons, bowls and serving utensils that can be easily cleaned. If you are looking to buy a dishwasher with a half-load mode, you may have a lot more models to choose from today. We bought our dishwasher during a time when it was not popular. A lot has changed in the last 12 years.
