ADI TV will feature the new series ‘Wild Rescues” and other documentaries about the work of Animal Defenders International (ADI) and the incredible rescues around the world. Lions and tigers rescued from circuses in Peru, Colombia and Guatemala and taken to ADI’s 455 acre sanctuary in South Africa. Monkeys cut from chains and returned to the Amazon forest. Abused bears returning to their natural habitat. ADI TV promises to be exciting, uplifting and educational.

Dumped ‘pet’ lions start new life in Africa
Purchased as status symbols, then abandoned when no longer wanted, six young lions rescued from the illegal wildlife trade in Kuwait have been flown to a new life at the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary, South Africa. How long does it take to integrate him with other lions? I'd love to see a first encounter.
Sadly, Ruben passed away in April. 15 years of captivity and malnutrition left his body compromised by spondylitis and degenerative neuropathy; the bones in his spine were disintegrating, damaging his spinal nerve. Gorgeous creatures, has the one who was in hospital had a scan.? First time I have seen them, won't be the last now!! Hence not familiar with which one is Simba/Rey. 💙🤔🏴
He was examined by ADIWS veterinarian Peter Caldwell and it was found that he had fluid that was pressing into his lungs, for which he was treated. This was two years ago and he is back to full strength and doing well.
Simba has the bow legs due to arthritis - the result of years of living in a tiny cage in a circus in Peru.

I thought it was George and Yame from Kevin Richardson's sanctuary at first but they were rescued 10 years ago from Spain and are all grown up now. I noticed Dr Peter Caldwell examining them when they were taken off the plane. He's a great vet.
He is an excellent veterinarian! Thankful for his expertise.
It'd be so nice to see him walk without any pain without stumbling and wobbling . He is so majestic and beautiful. Thank you for everything you do , karma and God will treat you good. I just realized that is the first time he's ever played with the toy.
