Shredding brush on a track skid loader with a Blue Diamond brush mower! #bobcat #bluediamond
Hey y’all! In today’s video the land owner has several groups of live oak trees that are starting to die, they are being chocked out by under brush and saplings. Since we can not spray, we will shred everything we can to conserve water for the live oaks. Hope y’all enjoy today’s video! Don’t forget to like this video, leave me a comment, share and subscribe. You might see an improvement in your welds if you use a grounding clamp instead of a magnet. I saw intermittent arcing coming from under the ground contact point. It's got to be causing irregular current flow.

I wouldnt have worried about the pipe being level as much as i would have dropped the low side as close to grade as i could to avoid erosion from water dropping out the pipe, those big flat rocks would have been the perfect erosion pad for water exit at the pipe BUT im not the one doing the work either😂. Love watching guys do this since i dont do it anymore, great job on the ditch and that leg rig is cool as hell

Hadn’t thought of digging test holes below the dam like that. That was a good idea. That is an interesting pond fix for sure.

All that area is rocky and guess dam is just loose dirt with no core so it’s just going straight under it. Gonna be a pretty good size job if I get it b/c clay is prob a mile away from the pond lol. Might need a few hogs on that job lol

The water is definitely running under the dam. They didn't cap the rock with clay when the dam was built. You could just about build a new pond for what it would cost to repair this one. I ran into a couple of ponds like that back in the early 80's. They were built in the 60's and they got into the rock layer and didn't cap it off. One pond we just filled in and the other we had to drain and clean out the bottom of the pond and pack in about 2 feet of good red clay. We even had to cut in a new core and raise the dam 2ft. So it all comes down to how much they want to spend to repair it. And you never know just what your going to run into until you start moving dirt and a lot of mud. This would be a good job to get Sam @ TriStar Diggin to come give you some help.😂 Be Safe Out There Buddy and GOD BLESS!

You’re 100% correct! You could try and try stuff that might work but best thing to do is start over. And yes you never know what’s in the bottom lol. They have a different area on the ranch we would have to get the clay from. And hope there’s enough to cover and core lol. And still no guarantee on that. Appreciate the comment and your idea! God bless!

The pond is looking good! You've done a lot of work getting there. Hopefully the owner will put some grass seed down to help erosion. Be Safe Out There and GOD BLESS!

Thank you! I appreciate the comment. I think the ranch was gonna do the seeding. It’s super dry here and don’t see any rain chances in forecast 😢. God bless!

If they end up having me drain the pond and fixing it which I hope they do I’m sure I’ll be seeding all the new stuff I do. But that may be a couple months from now.
