Let's Twist Again (Unknown Band Cover)
Since at least 1990, it has been claimed that this reggae cover of Chubby Checker's 'Let's Twist Again' is from John Lennon and Bowie Bowie (as an outtake from the 1974 Fame sessions). It's almost certainly not them, but it begs the question, who is the real band?

Heard this track on different bootlegs. Not even Shazam would identity the track. Someone did a compilation of all the non-Beatles bootleg tracks, including identifying those tracks, I do hope they continue on with the solo material.
Billy is the greatest impersonator for almost 60 years now. The real Paul M was totally different in and out. Although Billy is a good singer, song writer but the real Paul M was genius, charming and charismatic. I’m hoping that someday Billy will tell to the whole world that he’s not the real Paul.

geez, i’m sorry, sincerely. i thought you knew the joke and were being coy. Paul's song: it’s a friendly h andjob joke tossed to George in 1973 after the 3 other Beatles fell out with Allen Klien and made up with Paul. George’s song is about affectionate friendship, Paul picks up and uses the lyric “let me roll it to you” and adds “you gave me lovin’ in the palm of my hand”. It's a double entendre: the lovin’ might be putting reefer in friends hand to share or it might be a handj ob. Then John picked up the riff from Paul's song and ran the han djob joke through the goal posts by using it in a song on jerkin’ beef. John didn't make the h andjob joke, he just got in on it and amplified it beyond denial. You can check out paul’s 2004 glastonbury performance of LMRI to hear him acknowledge the old joke from the 70s by changing the lyric he sings to “HE gave me lovin’ in the palm of my hand”. peace

What the heck happened at 5:05?
the get back sessions were recorded on two nagra reels, an a and b camera, these often had to be switched out and its likely thats what happened here, having to use the other source to fill in for those few seconds sadly this part is also shown in the Get Back doc, still having the dropout, meaning this song doesn't exist on 8-track tape, and that there isn't any better source for that part, admittedly it did sound better in the doc, but its still pretty noticeable.

I've been listening to The Beatles since the '60s and I've listened to a lot of their interviews and I have never bought what McCartney just said about I wore a black rose because they ran out of red ones. I know he's not dead but I mean come on guys you knew what you were doing, and I absolutely loved it.
