Hey do you have any tips on how to get the hat to the right size? I've made 2, the first one too small, the second one too big
Hi! It depends on how you start your hat, I start with a foundation chain and I measure the size by wrapping the foundation chain around my head. It also depends on your yarn weight and hook size. I typically use a size 4 medium weight acrylic yarn and a 5mm hook for my cat beanies. If you’re still having trouble it may be a tension problem meaning your stitches are too tight or too loose. It’s all trail and error to figure out what works best for you! Hope this helps! 😊❤️
