Thank you for sharing this video. I thought the idea was clever. I just completed making the bag following your video. I used a denim remnant, a remnant for the pockets rather than using squares of scraps (because of the directional print I wished to use); plus added a pocket inside and on the reverse outer side to use up the rest of the dolphin remnant. I think it turned out really well. I used Deco Bond for my stabilizer on the lining because this denim is a stretch denim. I also used your tip for securing the lining to the bag. It does make it harder to turn right side out, but I like the idea that the lining won’t shift around or come loose. Thanks again for sharing. 😊

I watched your previous video on making new fabric from tiny scraps and have been waiting eagerly for this video on what you were going to make with it!! Thank you for sharing this great idea for upcycling fabric scraps that are otherwise useless! I'm always on the lookout for ways to reuse things and reduce waste. Such a cute and practical little bag! I have sooo many tiny fabric scraps I've been saving for "something, someday" but didn't know what yet... Haha! Now I know - I'm going to start making some little bags like this! 😊

I love DIY building and especially when a new studio is involved 😍

I get old pillowcases and put all the to small pieces in. When full I sew up open end and make pet pillows. It helps to put pillowcase in kitchen size garbage can. I ask pet shops if they could use them. And when pets get adopted the pillow can go with them.

My favorite way to creat a block of scraps. I like that I can just sew then store until ready to use. I do a smaller stitch and try to have outside edge wide enough so as not to have seams to close to edge but never thought of using long strip to also reinforce the seams. Great video
