Hi there! No worries, it's pretty safe. Some parents even let their kids take this ride themselves (older than 10). I understand that there are larger and scarier King Kong rides in the other parts of the world, but this one (in belgium) is designed for children. Thank you for watching 🙏💕

Don't forget to introduce them to various things and fake plastic predators. Meercats have impressive vocal ranges naturally and can vocalize for up to 23 separate threats and also have many social vocal ranges but in captivity they lose these in not properly cared for .
They were very quiet when we were observing them. One was definitely observing us back (she was standing still on a rock looking back at us). This zoo is quite small but I do hope they treat them well.
