Being a photographer is more than just clicking the shutter-it’s about creativity, planning, and adapting to different challenges every day. Here’s a glimpse into a week in my life as a photographer, where no two days are ever the same!
Monday: Prepping & Planning
Mondays are all about preparation. I schedule shoots, plan concepts and communicate with clients. If I have a themed session coming up, I also gather props and finalize the lighting setup.
Tuesday : Social Media & Marketing
A big part of being a photographer is sharing work online. I post behind-the-scenes clips, update my portfolio, and engage with clients through social media.
Wednesday: Editing & Retouching
Post-processing is just as important as capturing the shot. I spend the day selecting the best images, color-correcting, retouching, and ensuring each photo tells a story. This is also when I deliver final images to clients.
Thursday and fridays: Studio Shoot Days or outdoors
A studio day means working with controlled lighting and experimenting with different setups. Whether it’s a newborn session, a product shoot, or portrait photography, I ensure everything-from the backdrop to the smallest detail-is perfect.
Outdoor & Lifestyle Shoots
I head out for golden hour sessions-whether it’s family portraits, fashion editorials, or engagement shoots. The natural light and changing environments make outdoor photography exciting and dynamic.
Every week is different, but that’s what makes photography so exciting-it’s all about telling stories through the lens!
