2013 Honda odyssey radiator fan diagnose
This should be the final step after checking the relays and fuses, this van was overheating because the driver side fan wouldn’t come on and it turned out the radiator fan was burnt up.

This is not a how to, just showing the struggle of getting this starter out. I tried other methods as some other videos show but couldn’t reach the top bolt. It’s a really painful job.

After putting in the new sensor and clearing the code it came right back on after one day. So I am thinking it’s the thermostat is gone bad, will upload video on how to change that.

There’s the coolant temperature sensor for the 2014 - 2019 Chevrolet Impala 3.6l v6. My car throw a code P0128 and the gage for the engine coolant temperature stopped working. I haven’t changed the sensor yet but just wanted to show you’ll where it’s located. Will update once I put in a new one.

    Great video. Do you know if it's similar for a 2015 Malibu with a 2.5 engine?

    hey did you ever change the thermostat in the 2014 impala? I think my thermostat has gone bad, I have already changed my coolant temp sensor, cracked coolant air bleed pipe. I cleared the codes but the code p0128 (coolant thermostat) still pops up, the gauge on the dash is stuck on cold. I'm wondering if I need to change the whole thermostat and housing or if I just need to flush the coolant. the coolant is very dirty, do you think that could be the problem?

    • @Emmssa
      @Emmssa 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No I never changed the thermostat, it turned out I had bad cooling fan relay and bad engine coolant temperature sensor, I have video how to change that sensor. But check all your fan relays these Impala have like 6 of them relays and fuses also there’s another coolant sensor on the radiator it self that might also need to be changed otherwise your gauge will stay in cold and the ac won’t work as well becaus the car thinks it’s over heating

    • @Emmssa
      @Emmssa 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Most likely it’s not your thermostat but they sometimes stuck open so you could changed that along with the two cooling sensors and check all the fan relays and fuses and should work fine

      @@Emmssaokay thank you!!! I changed the thermostat and flushed all the bad coolant, it seems to be running fine now, the ac is just going back to blowing out hot air

      @@AyanaBallard okay that’s good, but first make sure compressor is working and there’s Freon in there, if it’s good check all your fan relays and fuses

    My friend, i have 2016 ls Chevy Impala 6v engine Now i have an issue with coolant temperature, it is reaching 110c degree and when i turn the AC ON ilthe fan starts working and goes down. Does that related to the temperature sensor in the engine?

    • @Emmssa
      @Emmssa 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Check your fan relays all of them they have high and low relays, also I would replace the coolant temperature sensor I have a video on how to do that

    Do you know where is the drain plug for the ac?? Where the water comes out mine is clogged and I can’t find it they said is on the firewall on passenger side but can’t find it

    • @Emmssa
      @Emmssa 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s right bellow the air duct on the passenger side, you’ll need to remove the air duct to get to it

    I am thinking about doing this in my 2016, Do I need have it in neutral or just off drain and refill with mix water and dexcool.

    • @Emmssa
      @Emmssa ปีที่แล้ว

      Doesn’t have to be in neutral. Just drain it then fill it all the way and start the car for like 10 to 15 minutes with the heater on and watch the fluid add some more if it needs to then I recommend driving it around for another 15 minutes with the heater on and recheck the fluid top it off if it dropped a bit and it should be good. I used the Preston 50/50 from Walmart don’t remember how much exactly it took but check the level on the reservoir after you fill it up.
