Thanks!! What's ironic is that solos tend to look more simpler since there are some bosses that create multiple AOEs depending on how many characters are on the field -- including pets.

True. You should use this in really dense areas. It's like the MP bar is not moving at all.

I've not read or known of anyone getting banned for using the Adventurer's Diary properly.

At that level, SS1 farming might be more suitable. For beginner levels with low-end equipment, I'd probably go with the Frogs (forgot the name of the mob) under Hora. Not sure if there's still a lot of players there but you can try.👍 If you need the absolute weakest, nearest mobs: Blue Jellies under Sofya. Even starter level characters can farm there. Just don't expect a lot of players there though.

It would work, but based on the mob's spacing it would only hit one or two at a time. Sonic Blade might be more suitable in areas like Morga.

​@@nimrodamraphel how about storm blaze for that? Sure it takes a while to stack it up if we're only using auto attack/hammer slam to stack it, but it has a very long range

@@SolanArbiter was thinking about that as well since it has way longer range. If it works, could be a viable farming skill too. Just need to work on maximizing the MP regen when the skill is used.

For this fight, I was using the NPC 8th Anniv.

One Handed Sword and Knucks users will have a better chance of breaking. Just need to max out the interrupting skill to get a 100% chance to break.

Thanks! There are multiple ways to beat these bosses and one needs a bit of creativity and (whether we admit it or not) resources to get the right equipment to jive with each other. Thanks again!

Thanks! Yeah, double break is possible with two bosses near each other. Was hoping for some dyed arm or weapon at least but alas ... Did some testing a few weeks ago and what I've gathered is, at least on first hit, Meteor Break still has higher damage than either Lunar Slash or (non-stf) Shut-Out. Lunar might help in adding more damage due to its Additional Damage ability and Shut -Out beats both when there is a successful stf before it. Meteor Break for me is more reliable, has , and I just got used to the timing of it. Maybe I'll eventually move on someday.

And this also reminds me of some things...MB does actually have higher skill constant value than Lunar right? And their total skill multiplier value are actually the same too (both are around x14) if we don't count the hits from lunar stacks. Lunar stacks have unreliable critical rate against critical resistant bosses anyway...so imo your playstyle is more than just viable and is actually really good (and a signature of yours too😎) Ig the only real advantage of lunar is its mp cost, but if both are used with impact it's not even an advantage anymore^^; Both are actually more equal than most (and me) think...

Yeah, I did the very basic testing just getting 100% stab char with at least 255 STR on Don Yeti. Most may recommend Alto but didn't have time to level my test char to reach the mini boss's level. You may want to try it out too. Having Carbuncle Edge 2h would already add a lot of stab for testing. You never know, you might be surprised as some results.

Nah, I'd be happy just to beat the boss with friends and party mates. Rank and time is not something I'm concerned about.

@@Qwert-4960 We have different views on fights and that's great! Party fights can get really fast and furious most of the time and it's hard to see what's going on. I like watching/doing solos because I see it like a dance between the player and the boss(es). Like how the boss sends out a signal on where he will land a hit and how the player will react to it -- evade, block, counter, or take it in the face. It shows how one has mastered the boss and prepared for the fight. RNG will always be there, but preparation and knowledge will make it easier to react/adjust if it happens.

@@nimrodamraphel ohh it makes sense now,i was still confused but i didn't want to keep asking i like the button version more because its 1 tap faster i need that slight mili second in advantage for defense more than more button slot for moves because its actually significantly less efficient for me many times I could have lived if it wasn't for double tap map,thats my reason
