Wait so how do I obtain alcohol for my (future) mobil bar?
Most mobile bars will organize the order through a permitted retailer. Some mobile bars invest in brick-and-mortar spaces so that they qualify for a liquor license. Still others just have the clients provide the alcohol.

This! It cost A LOT to run a successful business. My husband and I sat down and reviewed our overhead, and realized we were not going to be making nearly enough after each event! So we are going to have to increase prices by 20% to have better margins.
Well done Dakota! We tell mobile bar owners to aim for a 50% margin so that they are making enough money to pay themselves and make all this hard work worth it!

so how do they expect for us to purchase in order to provide services are you talking services as in liquor by the drank serving or trying to resale retail as wholesaler, sorry I'm new and so confused
They don't expect you to purchase alcohol. Technically, unless you have a license to resell alcohol you can NOT purchase alcohol for your client. You can facilitate the order by creating a shopping list with quantities and such but it's generally safest for you NOT to purchase for them. It's a complicated topic and the actual laws vary by location so your best bet is to hire a local lawyer that's familiar with your local regulations.
Thank you for this video. This was helpful. I did want to confirm that the restriction for selling alcohol without license also included packages that included alcohol for a private event.
Great clarification. Honestly, there are no "loopholes" in liquor laws, so there is no legal way to workaround them. You can't sell tickets and claim that you're selling tickets, not alcohol, you can't bundle alcohol into packages, or sell it at cost and claim you're not selling it at a profit thus not selling it. It's best to have a conversation with a local liquor lawyer about how to legally work WITH your local laws. <3
