You can use 2 vacuum pumps at the same time and have success with it.
มุมมอง 1.1K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
When using 2 vacuum pumps of different size it can be a challenge to have one pump not overpower another and suck the oil out of the lesser pump. Another way is to pipe the pumps in parallel. They share a common header. Im actually thinking about getting a pipe of 1.5"-2" and adding in taps to allow for a parallel configuration. I would add hose taps on the sides and the end would be able to co...

Hey Jason, 5000hr lube timer?. I’ve never seen that, 1000hr-1200hr max. With shutdown at 1500hr for no lube. Was there any particular reason for the insulation test?, suffering from instantaneous current faults?. Looks to be a Q3 or Q4 compressor maybe about 300tons?.
@jeffreyrex8232 im not sure why the timer is set that high. Megger testing is just a part of routine maintenance of who i was employed with at the time. I have to do the same thing where im employed now as well on annuals.
It's cool, but where is it located?
What the hell am I looking at?? _"Labs...All labs in...this facility..."_ Ahh yes, Racoon city plumbing and heating service call, should have guessed. But in all seriousness, that's a beauty of an engineering space. You know it's gold plated when there's even fire extinguisers buried throughout up there. "No expenses spared"

i have a copper fin 2 solid red alarm no water flow. pressure reading 0. any idea what it can be?
@@EmmanuelShahid7 i would start by confirming you have water and that the pump works. You can jump out the pump contacts.....after you confirm there is water in the loop. I don't always trust analog gauges in a hydronic system.
@jasonjohnsonHVAC thanx bro I will take a look at it. I work at the VA BOILER and working 2 month. they were using the regulater valve with the little handle to maintain at 30 to 35 psi. I check last night was running fine but was around 45 psi which was a concern. I came in tonight and it was down. water circular pump was running but no pressure at all. I tried resetting a few time on the copper fin side and turning it on and off and no luck. I will try your method as you mentioned.

Those humidifiers: I guess from the name they’re steam injection; is the steam generated in the unit, or is there a remote steam generator?
@chriswalford4161 it is injected from the humidifier itself. What i like about this one is there is no canister to replace. It has a stainless steel box where the heaters are. It's a fairly simple unit mechanically.

I wonder if some kind of tuned-mass damper attached near the fitting could solve the problem. Just attaching the proper length of thin wire rope with a hose clamp near the fitting could do the trick. You could probably tell when the vibrations were damped by touch.
