i found the old midi file yahoo enjoy this i found the motivation to remake this thats why it sounds slightly different from the demo i showed the remaining parts were arranged in anvil studio Champion Lance Champion Red this was heavily based on liquid crystal's rendition of this theme 0:00 - Original Pitch 2:08 - Alternate Pitch

people have already made arrangements like this i just wanted to do this to see what i could do with the ds sound engine since i hadn't actually done anything with it since december i feel a bit mixed on some parts of this but nonetheless i hope it's good enough i just replaced the trainer theme i even got it to play it in-game surprisingly

This makes me think it'd be the villain counterpart to the rival theme because of 0:03. Like a rival whose sanity degrades over time throughout the game and becomes an antagonist

It's pretty good, the instrument choices are fitting, and GBA PSG sounds are there, but it's still too far from RSE style. There are too many voices at any given time, and the track is too complex overall. This wouldn't play on an actual GBA because of that.
