@angiechristina6281 you could honestly do either way we just double the string because if we went thicker it's harder to thread through our needle to string beads on. 😀

Thanks so much for this tutorial! I have seen those flower things and had no idea what they are for. This video is great! Just one question. I"m curious why the smaller blunt needle is used for the car charm. Does it make a difference which needle you use for this?
The blunt needle works best only because the cord is thicker and the blunt needle has a bigger eyelet. And it helps pull it through! I needed the pliers cause I put lotion on prior and it was slick 🤣 oops.

Could I cut a piece of wire to put the beads on the cord since I don't have a needle?
That would be a good idea! For our lanyards we use a paper Clip that we opened and bent in half! It's perfect!

Yes , the ink is inside the pen. Sorry I totally spaced showing how they work. We also have refil ink available to purchase!

Walmart, but I had my husband cut the notch out to allow string to go into it. I probably need a better one lol

I learned a different way of tying from a different youtube crafter thats easier that might help because some beads have smaller holes which makes it struggle to get that knot hidden and it works with smaller beads too if so i can find the video link if would like

This was my first video for TH-cam so I'm definitely learning still. I apologize for the sound issue.. 😃 we use a variety of beads from 15mm to 20mm 😃 everyone is different and I've seen some cute pens with even smaller bead sizes.

Where did you get the beading needle
It's a regular threading needle from joanns I used and then used wire cutters to cut the threading hole open. 😊
