Why do the comments keep getting erased COWARDS!

Well, I gave away 2.44 hours of my life to view the February 07, 2024, Nogales City Council Meeting. I'm nodding my head wishing I had my 2.44 hours back! Comments: They fired Esquire Machado because he didn't attend Tuesday and Thursday meetings and no longer suitable for the position. Wow! However, as the heated and unprofessional arguments continued with Mayor Maldonado, Councilman Doyle and Esquire Machado a big red flag was raised regarding the accusations made by Esquire Machado towards Mayor Maldonado spending taxpayer's money illegally? If an individual is accusing someone with such grave accusations and holds a public office which he/she is accountable for the best interest of every citizen in their city, I would think that individual would make the information public in a proper format attached with facts. Not reporting vital information that affects all of us are grounds of terminating an individual from his/her public office position, furthermore, spending taxpayer money illegally are also grounds of terminating an individual from his/her public office position along with serving jail time. Question: Has accountability and integrity gone to the wayside? Here's food for thought: Wouldn't it be great if an elected City Councilman actually worked for their contracted salaries? Maybe a stipulation in the salary contract which would indicate a certain percentage of their salary will be paid for the first three years and on their final fourth year the elected official will get paid 100% of their salary and depending on their four year performance the remaining money owed would also be distributed to them. It is ridicules how Nogales citizens are dishing out thousands of dollars for elected officials who are clearly not representing the best interest of their citizens, but instead stroking their own egos and abusing their power. Another comment: Personally, I find it very unsettling how the City of Nogales does not have after school activities or clubs for our children where they can flourish and get excited about their future. What has happened to all the after-school clubs and after school activities that were offered when I was enrolled in the Nogales Unified School District? The Boys and Girls club doesn't scratch the surface of what our children really need and are strongly entitled to. Why are we looking outside Nogales for activities for our children? I'm sure if this question was asked to our Nogales Council Officials, we would get the usual robotic response of: "Thank you, we'll look into it." Polite way to say, "Go Away!" Nogales is going to Hell in a handbasket or is it already there?

Very sad to see how unprofessional the mayor and city council can act...especially when it comes to their disregard how this affects the taxpayers...why should we be affected for their personal reasons to fire Mr. Machado? And then not even give reasoning or allow Mr. Machado to address what really happened.
