An armor set I've found useful for dealing with this guy on my own time, though overall following a Dual Blades take on the strategy in this video, is the Wroggi Armor. It makes you immune to poison, so you don't have to deal with that.

This guy is my favorite monster

I know you said early on that for a lot of first time players, the Longsword is the easiest, but I tried all the weapons on the demo for this on the 3DS, and I find I do best with the Dual Blades. Any tips on fighting this guy with that weapon?

A friend told me you shouldn't let the monster sleep because sleeping is the monster's way of regaining stamina. Do you think he's right, or would you still suggest letting it fall asleep to get those hits on?

May I recommend chilled meat to any newbies? It's like cool drink, but it restores your stamina. Just combine ice crystal and well-done steak!

You have the hunter armor and he does hardly any damage to you. I have almost full jaggi and he does way more to me. I also upgraded them as much as I could with normal armor spheres. How did you do this! Please answer

You unlock Kayamba when you complete a 5 star Duramboros hunt. So you wouldn't have him this early in the game. Just keep progressing through the story and you will get him!

You don't have to throw pikmin one by one. You can use "Charge!" move. Press Z to lock onto a object, then shake the Nunchuk to charge at it.

The plan is to at least cover each of the large monsters and I will likely have some other videos in there talking about tips on specific missions, using certain weapons, and anything that viewers may ask for. But for right now, you will be seeing large monster hunts as I move through them all!

I use the elgato Game Capture HD device. You can find it on their page elgato.com After reading several reviews on similar devices, this is the one that I decided to purchase and so far I have not been disappointed. It works really well and is at a decent price. If you want to record your gameplay from your consoles I would definitely recommend picking this up.

I really like it... a lot of people are turned away because of the big learning curve, but once you get the hang of basic gameplay its not too bad. Also, its F2P so no excuses for not at least giving it a try!

Artemis' boomerang ability should be higher priority than Irradiate, since it does a ridiculous amount of damage.

Yeah its not the most inviting game to new players, if you do have interest in it I would recommend looking up videos/tutorials to get an understanding of the game and jump in with a friend you can team up with to learn and get the hang of playing. Makes it much less rage inducing than being alone and getting stomped repeatedly

I put at least 100 hours into the original on xbox arcade but I had a hard time getting into this one.
