For those who thinks this is Copenhagen and not Moscow, I can confirm that. When we saw the first part, it's like Moscow. But the last is likely the bombardment. But, according to some rumors, the apocalypse took place at Napoleon's invasion of Russia, which the year is from 1812. But the Second Battle of Copenhagen... It occurs from 1807... My point is that I guess the scenario were kinda complicated, but it's just a Napoleonic-era apocalyptic game... ***Sorry if my grammar has issues*** Edit: maybe it's really a dev joke

@@yoylecake313 nope, if you look at the wiki, it says Copenhagen, the blight had already started appearing before the coalition wars had started, however not to a massive scale. Moreover, how does a land locked state like Moscow be so close the the sea

Really? Cause battle of copenhagen started in denmark, the the nations there are denmark and britain (refering to the 1807 battle) so wheres the other nation, denmark? (I know british nation should also be there but the british are the british navy npcs that fire at us

A number of fake sneak-peeks showing Orthodox Crosses were shown off, along with the infrastructure bearing similarities to Moscow's clock tower. This was due to the playerbase's widespread support and obsession with the "Final Stand at Burning Moscow" suggestion posted by Deimach in the Guts & Blackpowder Discord server. The Burning of Moscow takes place prior to the events of the game in-lore. They even teamed everyone Russian during the first playtest, instead of Danish.
