Wat Khao Tabaek is a forest temple and located in Nong Kham Subdistrict, Si Racha District, Chon Buri Province.
The temple get attention for tourist both Local Thai's and Foreigners because of the Glass Bridge. A skywalk with long slopes for tourists to see the view from the top of the mountain to Khao Tabaek Temple.
With a 360-degree view of the natural beauty by walking on the glass bridge or skywalk made as a bridge connecting two hills, it is a tourist attraction of Si Racha District, who likes thrills and nature.
Before going up to the mountain temple and glass bridge, you need to pass a long bridge, which are came from the donation and all names are listed on bridge. You can observe with many colorful ribbons and it is tied on both sides of the bridge. You can buy a ribbon and write you owns petition and tie it at the bridge. After passing through this first bridge It will be the way up the hill with about 300 cement stairs to pay respect to the Buddha image on the top of Mount Tabaek or use the road.
The temple collected 40baht before you can walk to the Glass Bridge and you need to wait your number in que since they limit 100 person at a time. The 40baht is a donation for the maintenance of the glass bridge and to support other future plan on the temples like the on-going construction of big Buddha that will soon to rise at the other end of the bridge.
