I had all the canned heat comics when I was stationed in SF, unfortunately my ex threw them out when I was deployed

I saw Canned Heat in a concert at a small college back in 1971. The Allman Brothers Band opened for them. I'm a huge fan of ABB, having seen them four times previously including the 2nd Atlanta Pop Festival, but that night they disappointed me. They just phoned it in until the final jam number. I think they were really tired of being on the road and it was just a little, podunk venue. Canned Heat came out and played their hearts out. In my opinion, they blew ABB off the stage, no mean feat by a long stretch. I've always thought Canned Heat was under-appreciated, though not by me. richard --
