Extracting Points from Blackboard file
มุมมอง 425 ปีที่แล้ว
This is how I extract the point values from the Blackboard Course Management Grade Center download when calculating students' grades. It should have been [Ctrl][Shift][Right Arrow] instead of [Ctrl][Shift][End] to select to the end of the row.

How do you fix the spill error?
Yea I really need to know how do u get around the spill error
im legit breaking down right now because of this issue. someone help me right now
Great video, thanks. How did you define x?
Can someone please do this with python?😭
Thank you for sharing
Thank you for the video. I've try also with the distributed + point load SF BM and it works well.
Keith, you are brilliant. Thank you for sharing this wondeful idea.
My bending force not end with 0. How should i do?
👌🙏🙏🙏
Thank you so much
Very helpful video, thank you for taking the time to make this
Hello sir ,i have one doubt ,When I tested with a phase and neutral wave multimeter I got 229 voltage,Then when I tested another phase i got 232 voltage,,Then I got a 401 when I checked between the two phases,,Now my question is why when I test separately I get one voltage and the same when I test them together why do I get less?
I get #spill any ideas how to fix this?
did you fix it
thanks sir
You're a lifesaver
Very helpful video, thank you for taking the time to make this
How do you fix the #spill error
Cool video i just got my first semi recumbent bike for my 50th birthday for my rides to work
What about power -1?
Awesome and very helpful tutorial! I didn't know that you could do those (x>a) quantities for the functions. Definitely useful too for fourier series expansions

what if I want to create a parameter to Change beam's length
its not working for me I have 4 forces and the first one is (0lbs F1) then (+1132lbs RA), (-1981lbs F2), finally (+849lbs RB)
I just get "#spill!"
@Sharon Pearlnath this fixed it for me thank you

mr too how did you fix it?

Hello, I was trying to do the same operation, but with a symbolic x function ( meaning i want to write the moment function with symbolic x, not directly input x as linspace in the first) and then substitute the values of x in the sigularity function of moment and then plot the bmd, can't figure out how to do this, I need symbolic singularity function of moment because i need to differentiate the moment equation to form a shear force equation and not directly input it) Can you help?
I have the same problem
Ill pay u if u do more of these lol.theyre superbhelpful
Thanks broski
thankyou
what can we do power 3 ?
God bless you sir!
Very informative, thank you
If yellow is input signal and blue is output why isnt yellow signal in front of blue? Its look like violating the princip of casuality.
yeah ok tough guy.
very useful... thanks
what if the equation needs to be adaptive so that the double entry point can move depending on the data source
It was really helpful but I didn’t understand the subplot (211) and subplot (212).
subplot is a function that allows you to make multiple plots in the same figure. The 2 and the first 1 are the dimensions of the layout (2x1/RowxColumn), and the last 1 is the number of the graph (first and second graph). It can also be written as subplot(2,1,1) and subplot(2,1,2)
how do i plot a beam with a udl
dont know its still useful but choose an increment you want to display the udl in such as 0.1 then work out what the load increase of each 0.1 would be, (for example if 2kn/m over a meter each 0.1 would be 0.2) then just put brackets over all of what he did and minus this value (0.2 ) cumulativey. so at 0.5m in the udl you would minus 1... hope this makes sense..
It would be the similar for a distributed load, except the term from a distributed load would be degree 1 in the shear (V) function and degree 2 in the moment (M) function, from the integration. Say there was a distributed load acting over a<x<b, the term in the shear function would be - w*(x-a).*(x>a) + w*(x-b).*(x>b) and in the moment function - (w/2)*(x-a)^2.*(x>a) + (w/2)*(x-b)^2.*(x>b)
isn't it w/2 for SF?
what would I do when I have continous load plus point load with "IF" function?
what would i do if i had a continuous load rather than a point load?
How do you account for a distributed load for the moment diagram in matlab?

@@BrunoKabahizi wait this didnt work can u show an example code pls
@@dylanperera3543 Yeah for realz i get why its to the second power but matlab says incorrect dimensions for raising a matrix to a power
I was able to fix the problem by using (.^2) need the dot before the power since it's matrix multiplication

what does the number 211,212 mean in command "subplot(211)", "subplot(212)" ? thx
211 means 2 rows, 1 column, position 1 212 means 2 rows, 1 column, position 2
how can I hide the grid lines within the viewport?
I am also looking for that, do you know now?
Oh I just figured it out. By clicking twice in the view point and clicking F7

How do I input an expression of power ^2, for example, I have one term "500<x-10>^2"
along the top ribbon, click insert and then symbol
surely you would just write: 500*(x-10)*(x-10)*(x>10) it's easier than trying to add the square symbol to everything
very good, very nice, I like it
