I never heard of Chris Maynard before and I just stumbled on this TH-cam but after this teaching, I subscribed.

Perhaps a significant issue has initially been the blending of the Old and New Covenants. We are saved only under the New Covenant established through the death and resurrection of Jesus. Paul spoke specifically that there is no other gospel, there is no other access to the Father, nor to the Kingdom. There is no other faith, no other good works that will establish righteousness with the Father. Vanity and logic pale into insignificance with the Covenant the Father has with the Son. Only in Him will mans failure of missing the mark be addressed. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 15 Moreover, brethren, I DECLARE to you THE GOSPEL which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, 2 BY WHICH YOU ARE ALSO SAVED, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you-unless you believed in vain. 3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS according to the Scriptures, 4 and that HE WAS BURIED, and that HE ROSE AGAIN THE THIRD DAY according to the Scriptures, God's word tells us that only in Jesus is found redemption, justification, right standing with god - not in any other name under heaven. Thank you Pastor Maynard. You're so right about "feelings" too. That's what happened to me year's ago, took many year's for me to discover, don't depend on feelings or material thing's. I didn't even know what the word "humble" meant. I was very selfish and I have to say, I didn't have a clue. But thank God for Jesus Christ who never gave up on me. Keep speaking the truth. I think the "church" in the USA has just become too "Americanized". I think that sometimes, with folk's like myself, it eventually comes down to Christ is all I have left. We bring it on ourselves, and I thank God that is all I need, but yet in my old age, I will still find myself thinking and saying, "if only this or that", and then I remember, when I had what I thought I wanted, I only wanted more. I'm so happy to hear preacher's like you tell it like it really is. American's, not all of them, are sitting around waiting for the rapture, I'm not so sure about that anymore, but that's not what we should be depending on, I want to depend on Christ, to know him as much as I possibly can while I am still here. One day we will all face Him and I want to be filled with the most humble joy in knowing if ever I was right about anything, I was right about Him!
