I definitely feel like I lucked out as returning prot warrior this season. I watched a lot of M+ tanking guides and took note of all the tank busters, and then was surprised that none of them really seemed to put a dent in me even in 10s, or I just negate them completely with spell reflect. It sounds incredibly stressful for any tanks that can't block, and hopefully these nerfs help a bit to make these mechanics a better balance of engaging instead of punishing - if it's not too late. As for the toxicity, I think the stakes can be just too high for people with how M+ is currently designed. There are times where if a single person misses their interrupt, or defensive, or mechanic check, or pull, etc., the run is screwed for everyone. On the one hand, difficult content should be difficult, and the whole idea of M+ is it gets infinitely more difficult to keep giving players a reason to log in and play. But for the typical pug group (which is very likely the vast majority of M+ groups) there's absolutely no way to communicate with your group once a run has started, making it very difficult to communicate with everyone what is expected of them for each pull/boss/mechanic. You just have to trust that everyone knows everything and that it's the same 'everything' that you know. Maybe I'm just an old man these days, but I remember playing the end game dungeons in vanilla, and then heroics in BC, which all seemed incredibly difficult at the time because the game hadn't been 'solved' yet. But because there was no timer you could take you time communicate with your group on which mobs to CC, which to interrupt, how you were going to pull them, etc. You had time to talk to people and work towards achieving something, make friends, be social, etc.. Now there's no time for that, it's just go go go until someone slips on a banana and then everyone is pissed. I think timers can still be fun and engaging, but maybe in some sort of 'bonus' way. Like giving extra crests depending on how fast you clear a M+, tie portals to clearing a 10s in a certain amount of time, etc.

Hey man nice chatting with you on twitch yesterday. I was looking at some of my recent logs and the meathook trinket seems to be doing decent damage. It more rhan doubled the sac brood but its also a mythic track vs the hero track sac.

Are these defensive talent swaps made for higher keys? Or is the DPS more important as the keys get higher?

I can see how easy it is on second boss with a dk grips. I however keep wipe there cause adds kill group and I cant get them together with my prot warrior ....what am i supposed to do to group them up ?

Much appreciated video man definitely worth the like and subscribe! I'm a very experienced play just picking up Prot Warrior, and m+ tanking in general. The small things like positioning Tredova against the wall for the first burst or when and where to spell reflect are awesome to hear. One suggestion would be to maybe open you talents at the start of the video or link them in the description so people have a quick reference for them, especially as they flex from dungeon to dungeon! Looking forward to more!

well, at least i get to see exactly when to jump from cosmic singularity :p i was scared of the timing but it seems relatively easy if you just need to jump at 0.9 sec cast.

I've been solo tanking this for a while, but suddenly this week I died twice in a row with a lash and auto hitting 0.00 secs apart doing roughly 23k damage added together. Is this just really bad luck? Never had a problem with him before

How do you deal with the trash pack before the boss?

can i do that as an arms warrior with tank gear? and lionheart executioner as my weapon?

Good video mate, i also finished endless wave 30 on my protection warrior. Just adding that to avoid pyroblasts i use the covers when interupts/stuns on CD :)

I double checked the list this morning, it is in order from what I can tell (from deck overview to the last game). Maybe its something if you're on a mobile device? Also, there's not a Match 1 since I had to delete the recording.

The play list plays them backwards. Was a bit of a chore to watch this.

I really like to online stuff compared to the live since it is a lot easier to follow what is going on.

while im sure that you are both very confident in your decks, at some point this just comes off as "leading" him into making plays that he otherwise might not. its not the worst criticism, it was just noticeable throughout. if i didnt care to watch more of these videos I wouldnt have said anything, but i encourage you to keep producing them.

I'm not playing the deck for him, I'm just stating what is going through my head while I'm making plays. Jace actually takes some different lines than I would have made, especially in Game 1, he is just a little less vocal than I am about it.

i wish the jund player would not try and play both decks the whole time and let him do his thing. would make both of you better players
