I often wonder if the scripture in Matthew 17:5-13 where the voice of the Father (the Creator) said openly to everyone and everything…… “This is My beloved Son whom I am well pleased…. Hear Him!” The Father told all to now hear His Son. Before that the Father spoke everything into existence and it heard Him and obeyed. Whatever He spoke to anyone or anything in creation it obeyed. So I wonder if having the Father speak Hear My Son…. If now when the Son spoke, it heard and obeyed…..examples: the water into wine, and the other water examples in this video along with the Fig Tree….. the Fig Tree heard the Son and obeyed and withered away….. and the list goes on. Was it the Father’s voice of instruction of “Hear Him”, the foundation of why things obeyed the Son? Just seeing this in the light of the Lord God speaking everything into existence. Perhaps Jesus who also heard the Father speak those words, now goes on a journey of learning through obedience to the Father, that all of creation is now subject to Him as He is subject to the Father. Following the pattern of “i only do what I see My Father do and I only say what I hear My Father says. So Jesus learned through His obedience to the Father. It seems the level of obedience Jesus had to the Father was the level of obedience He received when He spoke. Just some thoughts on this…..

I rolled my ankle a few years back in a movie theater going back to my seat. I was too embarrassed to limp out of there. So I sat in my seat almost in tears. My ankle was on fire. I was reclined back and as I focused on the movie, the pain subsided. I had a small limp as I walked out but was nothing compared to it if I had given attention to it.

Mornin’ my friend. This is Bryan Maines in NC. Idk if you remember me or not. I’m a member of Pastor Phil Edwards church. I have a question if you don’t mind answering. I’ve been working on a lesson concerning “ Go Ye” My son was healed by the Lord during one of your services here many years ago. I wanted to express to the congregation during the lesson the importance of them spreading the Good News. So my intention is to give them tangible reasons that they can see. So my question is…Do you mind sharing the name of the person who shared the Good News with you that led you to the Lord. And if you know who led them and so on and what year and age. My point is to show them that generations later will be blessed as a result of them choosing to “Go Ye” Thank you for your time. Hope you come to Alleghany NC soon. We would all love to see ya.
