Absolutely delicious one of my favorite

Espolon, Cuervo, Casamigos, Clase Azule, etc. Which is the best??? Like genuinely. Here in PA, mind you, this is what I can name off the top of my head; Ive only tried Cuervo, Casamigos, and 1800. I do like the reposado the most although, I've never tried anejo. What do ya'll suggest?

I did 2 blind tastings last week with 6 tequilas, the first day neat and the second day I made 6 margaritas. Everyone picked Ocho over whelming for first place both neat and in the margaritas. Lunazul, Patron, Lalo were 2-4 for everyone, Astral last on both days by a big margin. Lunazul had a very good showing being the least expensive, 2 people had it in 2nd for the margarita. All margaritas were made the same, I even weighed the ice and counted the shakes to make sure all was fair I agree you must taste blind so no bias.

Has Tapatio maintained their product quality since this review?

Great options for a Blanco Tequila that’s good for sipping. I haven’t tried Cascahuin yet but I have heard a lot of good things. Personally the Ocho Puntas is something I stay away from because it’s too high proof for my liking but it’s definitely a good special release. Another new product that’s also very good is Mijenta’s Maestra Blanco. It’s made from a special selection of agave grown from seeds. It comes in at 100 proof and it’s just as good quality as their regular Blanco.

People kept recommending Pueblo Viejo to me and said it was AF but it makes me feel so much worse in the morning even compared to if I had drank twice as much Tequileño

I enjoy sipping on most good blancos way more than cocktails or shots. Maybe its because Im in Ontario and good tequila is hard to get here but I always feel like its kind of a waste to mix it even though I do enjoy a good cocktail

Almost perfect. However make sure the Siempre is NOM 1414, and that's gunna be dead NO on Dulce. Replace with Arette or Suerte.

Sotol is not just produced in Mexico. Sotols are mostly grown in the Chihuahuan desert, which includes West/Central Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. Desert Door produces Sotol in Texas.

I initially was a bigger fan of Mezcal than tequila. The La Luna is a great option at an awesome price point.

I kind of like the smokiness as long as it's not too overpowering. That's what got me into it when I first tried it in Oaxaca. It was like Oh this is different.
