This helped me out. Instead of searching for 3.1. you may want to search for "DirectOutputCom.ComObject" until you locate the InprocServer32 folder under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\WOW6432Node\CSLID. I had tones of results searching for 3.1. Another way to find it is to search for 8440.

worked for me. to a bit to find because i had like 100 plus results for 3.1. search. also your screen resolution was so high but capture resolution so low that I couldnt read your screen which would have made the search a little quicker. Either way , thanks a whole lot.

Thanks for the content much appreciated, for the cost of a Teensy it should be minimum spec in a new build after seeing the comparison. Has anyone done a build with HUB75 panels. Is it just a matter of a SmartMatrix SmartLED Shield for Teensy 4 and you all set ? My electronics skills are non existent beyond identifying components. I thought I could challenge myself and learn something new. Is this plausible undertaking or a bigger challenge than my skill set.

i'd like to give a some constructive criticism and hopefully it is not taken the wrong way: this really needs to be edited. there is maybe 15 minutes of info in here that helps get things working and the rest is watching you read (pretty sure we can all do that), watching you search for files and wonder where they are, repeating the same thing 3 times in 3 different ways, etc. i'd suggest writing a script, or at least having some bullet points. have most of the things ready to go (files downloaded, docs opened, saved in a location where you know they are, etc.) so you don't have to find them. you can do a dry run so you have all the stuff covered that you want to go over. it would also be good to resize your desktop for recording to make it smaller so it is easier to see. with your current resolution it is a bit difficult to see what the files are in explorer and the names, etc. for now you could even just use this footage, speed it up, cut out the "ums" and "ahs", and just do some text overlays to explain what you are doing in the video - that way you don't have to re-record it. but for any future videos, please consider what i mentioned above. it will help you make better videos and help all of us get the information you are trying to provide in a more concise manner. thanks for the great work, it is much appreciated 👍 EDIT: I created a repo with a rundown of the steps to perform to get this working. It is a WIP right now so if there are any problems just create an issue and i'll keep working on this. Also, it doesn't have to be this repo but a repo make a lot of sense for the stuff you are doing (it is an easier collab space) so if you want to use this repo i can transfer it to you, you can fork it, or you can just start your own. if you have questions, ping me (i also joined the fb group so will ping you guys in there about this). thanks again for the awesome work!

Your table looks amazing bro. We have lights in similar spots, I have a HD matrix for above my full dmd that I've been putting off because of this issue. I'm praying this works!! nobody has been able to help me. My directoutput folders are a mess. People have been telling me it's because I put all my online conifg tool .inis in directoutput \config folders and not just directoutput.

This was incredibly helpful. I couldn't figure out why some DOF stuff wasn't working on new tables - but I was only auto pulling to the original DirectOutput config file and was neglecting the DirectOutput64 config directory. This simplifies everything!
