When I ran this, I showed the whole process and even listed it on the AH. I didn’t get a lock out, and I did make 18k (watch the whole video if you don’t believe me) but since I created this video, we have entered mid season and the value of cloth has decreased and that will have an impact on the farm. :) Last I ran it, (about a week ago) I cleared around 7k gold, but I only do this for 30 minutes at a time and I am a healer so that makes me slower.

you are correct, I just went and checked and the Awoken Coelacanth and the dogfish are no longer posting. I will make a quick video about the update so no one else loses gold this way :)

They totally are! Turn off auto loot while fishing and cast agin once you catch something green or blue. If they are white items you need to click them or you lose them :)

It was making about 1k return when I did this video. :) I think there might be more efficient ways to gold farm though if f you are looking for active playing. :)

Firstly, thanks for watching the video. Do you have tailoring as a profession and have you put any Kp into the knowledge tree that lets you collect cloth? Only tailors can collect cloth in this expansion :)

I found that to be slower and less gold per hour. I am a disc priest so my damage is quite low and it’s important to note, I run the dungeon for 20-30 minutes a day so I don’t experience any lockouts. However, if you were looking to make as much gold as possible from this farm, it would make sense to clear the second room because I believe (hasn’t happened to me yet) after 30 instance resets you are locked out for the day. This would take longer, but you would get more gold overall.

Thank you. I have tried this and it didnt work for me. Maybe because my DPS as a healer is lower? Im not sure. I just found running the first room was faster. :) I will go check again, cause a good scientist checks things three times :P

No problem, and you’re right! I’ve also found that running just the first room nets me higher GPH, but I get capped out too quickly. I’m not sure what the cap is, but if I run just the first room, it caps me on the number of instance runs in around 20-30 mins. I haven’t been running this farm for too long, so I’m sure you have more data than me. I just thought it was worth mentioning the other labourers if you’re doing the second room, just in case you didn’t know about them, and it allows you to farm it for a little longer 👍🏻

That makes sense, my dps as a disc priest is probably not as high as yours and the could be why I’m not experiencing lockouts in the same time frame. I’m just slower. 😂 I agree, if you are running into lockouts, clearing the second room would make more gold. Thank you for the tip, if my dps picks up I will check it out again :)

I haven't been locked out yet. But to be fair I usually do this for no more than 30 minutes at a time (much more and I lose interest) I do this each day I log in. I supose if you did trigger a lockout running on an alt would work, or you could try the 2x4 group farm if you wanted to make a day of farming the cloth.

Hello! For the gold alone i didnt think so. But when you add rep farm and transmorg farm it the side gold is a nice benefit. Some of the transmorge items would have sold if I had kept persisting with listing them on the AH bu I ended up DEing them for the transmorg. 10k gold is still 10k :) for ages I would make the gold and blow it immediately on tailoring recipes from the AH :)

@@naturalmindy I believe in this expansion you need tailoring to collect cloth, like how you need mining and herbalisim for ores and flowers. :) I can make a video on my tailoring specs for farming if you would like to see them. :)
