Perfectly Crispy Air Fryer Chicken | Easy & Delicious Recipe

Ingredients:
- boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 1 ½ cups cornflakes, crushed
- 2 egg
- 1 cup flour (optional add seasoning to flour)
- Cooking spray or oil (for spraying)
- Instructions:
- Prepare the chicken:
-Trim any excess fat from the chicken breasts or thighs. If using large chicken breasts, consider cutting them in half to ensure they cook evenly.
Set up breading stations:
- In one shallow bowl, whisk together the egg.
- In another shallow bowl, combine the crushed cornflakes
- In another bowl add the Flour
- Bread the chicken:
- Dip each piece of chicken flour then the egg
Then, press the chicken into the cornflake mixture, making sure it's well-coated on all sides. Gently press the cornflakes onto the chicken to stick.
Preheat the air fryer:
- Preheat the air fryer to 385°F (196.1°C) for about 5 minutes.
Cook the chicken:
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or brush with a bit of oil.
- Place the breaded chicken pieces in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between each piece.
- Spray the top of the chicken with a light coat of cooking spray to help it crisp up.
- Cook at 385°F for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Serve:
- Once done, remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or alongside some veggies!

Please stop with the seed oils nonsense. It's high saturated fats which are bad for you. If you went int any cardiac unit , in any country and told them seed oils bad. They'll laugh you out the door.

It’s amazing how much you know about food why you eat that not only are you air frying and Teflon, which will give you cancer number one you’re eating bread which is wheat which will kill you because it’s just round up so that’ll cause cancer eventually it takes like four ingredients to make your own mayonnaise at home but you buy the bottled stuff with sugar in it and who knows what’s in it I wouldn’t trust that just cause it says avocado oil doesn’t mean anything you could make it yourself I’m shocked that these people know about this stuff that just will eventually kill them in the end
Worked well for me, I reckon I only needed 20g of flour, and needed to season the chicken beforehand for a bit of taste

@ I bought corn flakes and trying it today. I usually use panko but I feel like corn flakes will so much better.
To stick with your calories and get your protein, you gotta make a sacrifice at one of your meals. I generally skip breakfast, then just have eggs and tuna for lunch with loads of veggies. Then that means at dinner I can generally have what I want and I’ll eat carbs then.
What kind of pizza are you having? Here a frozen one is 900kcal, decent protein. Not a great meal but certainly one you can eat once a while without ruining youre dieting goals😅

This is not low calorie. First off, 175 calories per pocket is terrible macros Secondly, how many people are gonna just eat one, i doubt it. Mist people could eat 4+. And very low protein. This mine as well be just a normal food
if you're craving pizza, it's a good snack portion to curb your craving.

Craving pizza but keeping it light? These low-calorie pizza pockets are the perfect guilt-free snack! Packed with flavor, not calories. 🍕✨ Ingredients: -Puff pastry sheet -Turkey pepperoni slices -Marinara sauce -Fat free American cheese Directions: Roll out 1 sheet of puff pastry and cut into 4 pieces. Next place about 1 to 2 tbsp of marinara sauce in the center of 2 of the 4 pieces. Then 2 pepperoni slices on each and 1 slice of fat free cheese on each, brush all the edges with egg and top both pieces with the remaining other 2 pieces of puff pastry. Using a fork seal the edges a brush the whole top with egg. Make a few cuts on the top and air fry at 400F for 10 minutes. Let cool a few minutes and cut both in half this will give you the 4 pieces. Each piece is 175c with 6.5g protein. Enjoy

umm, I saw this in the morning and I tried for dinner but it didn't work for me. it stuck to the basket 😅maybe I used too few cornflakes

@@charden1234 I use to flip it but I dont now it kind of presses down the corn flakes on the bottom side it will still be crunchy but I didn’t see much of a difference besides that it will flatten the corn flakes

Brother you are perfectly capable of figuring some stuff out for yourself. Bread it with whatever you want, if it looks like cornflakes it’s probably corn flakes. And I sincerely hope you figure out a way to google “how long to air fry chicken”

@@moises2839 I use Kellogg but I think any kind should work fine. There is also protein corn flakes from Kellogg the color isnt as golden but that works fine too
