Hello sir, I am planning to write a Trinity Grade 5 digital exam. I have a question. Do I need to play all the scales in the digital exam?
You need to play from either Set A or Set B. Check my Grade 5 video for reference. All the best.

I saw that you were using thumbpick so did the teachers recommended wide nut guitar or the regular 42-43mm
I watched your grade 7 also...As a young you do great.. I m a music teacher in Sri Lanka..teach up to fellowship level... Once I tought Dubai A student name Pranoy(indian) learned from me grade 8 and I tought him best he got Distinction...2015 2016 I came to Sri Lanka to serve to our people but here very less students in Colombo also very less students... I m so proud of you My own son who completed LTCL for guitar Now you would understand about us.. But Sri Lankan people would find me after my Death... I really appreciate you And your family member In Dubai I tought so many indian students who are very discipline and talented... God bless dear Son... My music institute in Sri Lanka name is Symphony music institute..Kalutara Thanks 👍

What guitar, amp, pedals are you using for this grade 8 rock and pop exam? Or what budget gear would you recommend for grade 8? Does guutar gear matter in the exam or the examiners only evaluate our timing, feel, dynamics, techniques, does the guitar gear and guutar tone carry weightage in the exam?
as long as the examiner can you you and the backing track clearly, your gear should not matter so much
It's how you play. Not the gear :)
