Thanks for turning auctions back to the mission and charity. I swore I'd never do a live auction again (and I have kept that promise) but I might do it this way. Great job Mr. Godin.

Philanthropic power just an enabling control of the rich elite. Is the only way people can move forward to be at the whims of wealthy people ? Look at where Philanthropy has gotten America in my 71 year lifetime. The answer is no where. The Wealthy Elite control more of American Economic Life than since the "Guilded Age". Capitalism never gives up it's real, cloistered, power to help the lives of everyday people. There is less empathy than any other time in all of my lifetime. ... Hate, racism, and holding others down, especially by one certain poltical party is as worse than ever. Shockingly, 40% of Americans are members of a hate-filled, anti democratic, Cult of Personality" Party, working for a suppressive Authoritarian Goverment. Where is any acknowledgement of that reality in this video ? Capitalist Philanthropy is proven not to be the answer to society's problems.

Stand Together is a Koch Brothers funded organization. OK whatever ... But Evan Feinberg wants to distance himself from the movement of State Republican Legislatures to ban any discussion of Race, Slavery, or Systemic Racism in American Schools. Evan Feinberg is too late to put the genie back in the bottle of The Koch's, who support Stand Together, supporting racist Republcians who don't want to face the negative consequences of race hatred, and also have passed voter supression, union supression, limiting womens rights, etc. Capitalism is never going to help the middle class and poor or those that threaten their stanglehold on American Goverment whether it be Executive, Legislative, or Judicial. The top few percent of rich people will never give up their monopoly on economic power. ..... In this video Evan Feinberg is pushing bogus PR and window dressing. And the same time the band of scoundrels, like the Kochs, still pull all the strings of American life. "Social Entrpreneurs" can never compete with Corporate America and Wall Street's economic stranglehold. I'm sure Feinberg and the "We Are For Good podcast" think they can change ot world but this is delusional without confronting the Establishment's Economic System political corruption. Little people's dreams are squashed by huge Corporations systematically every day. Unfettered Captialism is inherently selfish and self serving and this video does not adddress this at all.
