This is useful and beautiful drive. I am considering moving to the village of Lujar and although would not often go to Motril I would like to drive down occasionally on a scooter. I see it took about half an hour. You did not appear to be going at a high speed. How long do you think it would take to get there by scooter at leisurely pace? Also it does not seem to have any motorway so for the whole route just checking is it legal to ride a scooter of about 125cc the whole route. Lovely video and really nice to see the drive in real time so thanks :)

What an improvement to the old twisting two lane road that I used to drive in the 80's on my way from Almeria to Granada with a stop in Abrucena to visit relatives (2:10 has a excellent shot of the village). Have not been back in ages...does the old road still exist? Hope to one day have the chance to revisit this lovely part of Andalucia. Thanks for posting your video.
