Sonic Boom and Delia Derbyshire - Only The Loveliest
As far as I'm aware, this is the only piece of music that Sonic Boom and Delia Derbyshire worked on that has ever been released, on a compilation CD given away with the third issue of the arts and culture magazine Esopus. This recording is taken from the 7 March 2010 edition of the Radio 6 Music show Jarvis Cocker's Sunday Service, and it begins with a snippet of Jarvis' interview with Pete Kember (who gets the title of the track slightly wrong).

Alan Moore Interview, Radio 4, 1988
มุมมอง 248ปีที่แล้ว
A 1988 interview with Alan Moore about his current and forthcoming comics work. Almost certain this is from BBC Radio 4, it sounds like a roundtable discussion, one of the other participants is parapsychologist Peter Underwood, and another sounds like Joanah Lumley. This is only the Alan Moore bit, and the very start is missing. I don't know who took this photo of Alan, which I found here - www...

SEXY!
Sorry. I was using my friend’s account
Man he could play
he’s absolutely everything oh my goodness
That girl was so cringe and rude to interrupt interview.
In the early days there were often fights that's why Noel wore sunglasses lol so according to the myth
He also said he was on Molly a lot haha
Me expecting to be 120 minutes
Coked up to the gills lol
The singer and the band sound very cool
Its cool
I’m American and became a huge fan when “Connection” came out. They got regular airplay on the local alternative station X96. I bought their self titled and hit the bong to their music with my friends.
Justine is on the Mt. Rushmore of British rock IMO.
Geoff & Beth !!!!!😊😊😊
& Adrian of course ❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
MERCI POUR LE CHUNK
Noel seen blue sky ⛅️𓂃𓈒𓏸🐦
Camp as a row of tents.
Ian Brown obviously copied him😂
imagine if brett sang this
give me mellow gold over their tepid porridge any day
i love the copacetic lp still. life sentence.
nothing cool about smoking them cancer sticks.
sympatico
Haha I must have watched this when it aired.
❤
What genre is Portishead? Me : Haunting... yeah haunting
he's a beast live
Uma das minhas preferidas. Grande canção. Um obrigada a esta banda maravilhosa que carrega o meu coração
I aw that. MBV were the second loudest thing I have ever heard
If only the idiotic studio dancers could be edited out!!
The black dude in the shades, snapping his fingers…. What an asshat!! 😂
Liam is ace, Noels a div and Shaker Maker is a tuneee
See? My southern accent sounds just like t’eeeeeeeee 🫖
Glad he's cleaned up now, always thought he seemed quite vulnerable.
I don’t care that she’s older than me. She’s a beautiful woman and yes, she’s aged a little bit, but I’ve totally tossed my load.
Liam has always been very beautiful to look at 🥰
Legends who shaped the genre ❤️
She was a shit interviewer, and they responded in kind.
Fucking embarrassing
noel is such a prick
I saw the band a bit later at acid daze 2 in leeds in dec 1987, although i'm pretty sure i saw them before and after too. This is a pretty good representation of what they were like. A great "speed" effect on the rhythm guitar.
Oh yeah, the 90’s and the tilted camera angle
amreica had the fish eye we had the tilted
is this sensateria there playing in..
;) 😊 Beth “thought it (her band’s music) might be too slow!” How refreshing and really astonishing she has been over the years 🙏
Don’t say that it was all of their band everyone just forgets about Adrian in portishead
"We will make another one" - does that still hold?
It’s strange to me to think of Tasmin Archer and Huggy Bear in the mix together 😂
That last album is wonderful. They never made a bad album.
❤ after 27 years, I get to listen to this song again
My 'Pukkelpop'.. The drone's from at my home now ...recesbles nothing from those times... :-)
Seen them live once and it was super fun! I'll never forget it. They wore red matching sweaters too. I love it too this day!!
amazing haha
Loved PWEI since Love Missile. This is the first interview I've ever seen or heard!
