This game has sbmm/eomm i swear!!!! MLB 2K emphasised the stride of the batter when using pire analog which i have since 2009. Bit now im back to button and its cool.

Timing is great but timing without pitch location recognition you'll still be a terrible hitter swinging @ pitches outside of the strike zone.

I use the pci and o get it lined up but my timeing messes it up

So I don't watch baseball in real life but I love to play the game lol. I can't watch his leg and the ball at the same time. What's a tip on how to do that better? Where on the screen should I be looking to tell when he's doing the leg animation?

i gotta give it to you man. telling me to move my pci right before I swing really made things click. Before I was trying to guess the pitch location right out of the hand and then adjusting. I can see this being way better for me

Actually when i pitch a ball in real life, i throw side arm but arm still bends like Shohei Ohtani’s but it bends down more, then it will like twist around and then i just release. I started throwing sidearm when i was younger and my arm started doing this. I was on a baseball team back then and my teammates said “Your arm is gruesome” and they had to look away 🤣😆

Im still swinging "very late" any advice, im actively swinging extremely early and its still swinging late

Bro I watched this video and took the claw method into Wild Card moments and did the Royce Lewis, Kevin Kiermaier and Tyrone Taylor home runs first try, I belted Perfect Perfects with Lewis and Kiermaier and Good timing with Taylor

What type of hitting are you using?

The game is so hard. For me when I move the pci I flick it to fast and miss the hit or get bad contact

I was in practice mode while you were going through it, and I started looking at what you were talking about, listening vs. watching, but I see what you're talking about. Predicting where the pitch is going now is so much easier. Thank you.

I get killed with high/inside fastballs, but I'm good with anything low or away. Any suggestions to help with this

Keep Your eye on the ball not the hitters leg

Definitely going to try your strategy. Never thought the hitters essentially give you a cue when to swing!

This technique will only work with certain pitchers. Some, like Zack Greinke have a delayed/stuttered release.

Been using Catcher camera which is fairly similar to zoom ever since I started playing the show and never had a problem with it, I’ve been a consistent hitter good against all kind of opponents, seeing the leg strides/set of the batter before the pitch it’s definetly important and I cannot ignore that the presentation looks so much better. It’s nice to see competitive players out there like you that Can work it out while seeing the batter stance!

Appreciate the advice but man this game is broken lol. The announcers act like they either have Alzheimer's, drunk, or either high. Sometimes the game doesn't even count my runs lol. 😂.

I always thought the Hitters animation was cosmetic, but, I switched it up and learned to improve my timing over a couple games...BOOM, I was hitting homeruns WAY MORE often. I barely hit homers and don't get a lot of good contact because my timing is so poor. THANK YOU. Gave me a couple new favorite batters because of how well I time with them.
