I'm glad you did this because I tried in my 1st playthrough and felt so bad forcing Astarion (who my evil buff male drow was romancing) that I reloaded...now on my 7th playthrough I no longer use illithid powers since they suck anyway

just finished my first playthrough as a light domain cleric (selunite obviously) who returned beloved Shadowheart to the moon maiden faith and helped her in saving her parents even if this saving was to let them go for their own daughter's future and in astral prism I hardly believed that Orpheus could go for a mindflayer sacrifice, so I gave Shadowheart last kiss and made my Tav become the mindflayer it's a shame that Karlach's fate scene starts after mindflayer-Tav's future decision.. because I choosed kms option and heard Shadowheart's very emotional "What are u doing?! No!" and then Karlach just dies while so called "blade of Avernus" just standing here at the background and can't persuade her not to do it without my Tav :D

I tried tossing in a hefty furnace pot or whatever it's called, in hope of awakening something. But no, nothing. The dlc has been a huge letdown tbh. Massive map with literally no rewards for exploring. They could have reduced the map by 70% and still have the same content. It literally reminds me of what my teacher said when i was studying to become a game developer: Don't make big and epic landscapes if you're not gonna fill it.

I have this feeling that if we're ever going to get Baldur's Gate 4 Mol is probably going to be one of the Antagonists, or possibly one of the evil companions Like Minthara, or Astarion

They really need more guards down there, any fool with misty step and some lock picks can just take everything.

honestly , in 99% of the games i play , i play a paladin , but aylin pissed me enough to the point where i'd have no issue with this

I used the powder kegs from outside, as well as every explosive I could carry, Karlach with hill giant strength throwing barrels and bombs, oh, and she was wearing gloves that increased throw damage. Everybody else died, everyone. Thankfully not a honor run.

If you fail the investigation role and can’t target it directly, you can put a barrel next to it and light the barrel, and that will damage the barrier
