why would you boil your raisns ? The idea is to soak them with rhum...not with hot water

What did you soak the cake?
It’s syrup I soaked rum and raisins.
Whats the shotening?
The shortening is FAT similar with butter. I used it for lighting texture. You can use butter instead of butter. :)
