You need to learn about the settings. With Exit Lag you have more control because of the advanced settings it has. Im NA east, and play on Dallas servers in Central and brought my ping down to (3ms) .

It is great for me in Florida tbh. I avoid pinging to the Ohio servers for the most part, which are terrible for me.

I don't think it's safe. It created a random file in startup named "1" and doesn't allow anyone to go to file location.

@Seriousbake I have constant packet loss and high ping and gearup or exitlag really help. I play mw3 and the game has very strict rules. Ik gearup supports it and says it only works on network and not game data. Its basically re routing u to a closer better server. Is this allowed or is it bannable. Mw3 is not clear on if we are allowed to use this or exitlag. But they are quick to kick us and take points for disconnecting. Its not fair. I wanna use this but I’m worried that they’re gonna think its third party. What are your thoughts. Can I use it without worry on mw3?

This is pretty much just a VPN service. There are better ones for better pings.

Lol bro i downloaded it today and my game repeatedly crashed. Blue screened my pc multiple times. Deleted the shit app and blocked it on my firewall settings and everything worked perfect. The software is ass.

ive tried it and it literally the exact same, and also when i switch to ExitLag instead of gearup i lost 30-40 ping so i prefer ExitLag for sure so definetly use that instead

yeah i dont think this shit works. havent tried it, but like ping goes down as there r less players and your ping went lower when there was only 15 people left alive. my opinion. I have exitlag, it helps a lil bit. The ping does go low when there r less players for me, i play around from like 55-60ping and it goes from around 60-40 ping when there r less players.

I play Roblox and average around 200 ping and had lag spikes pretty often. When I started using GearUp my ping went to 150 and it was more stable and stayed at that. For me that’s quite a difference so I’ll still be using it

You can do this yourself, change your DNS server. This gearup booster changes your DNS server to improve your connection to a server. Keep in mind there are other factors that make up for your pings. Distance, internet speed, hardware, software, and servers. Good pings are acceptable at 50 to 100 ping. 120 and over is a problem. To play in Europe with a low ping of 120, your internet speed has to be 500/ 100 or higher. Most people play with 100/50 in North America. Never use WiFi use a Lan connection for better pings.
