เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 22 เม.ย. 2017
I fish for many types of fish but catfish is my favorite. On this channel you will see me fish the Ohio River, Ky River and many other ponds and lakes throughout the state. As my channel grows so will the distance and areas i fish. I will also be making home made fish baits to share with you.

Hello misty nice to see you again
Hey...you know how it is these days..work work work..lol but I'm hoping to get a few videos in a week ..try to get my subs up.
The narration is top notch. You are def real people fishing. <3
Love it
Now I got to Google it how much is it then make an excellent ice fishing rod never mind people who collect Coca-Cola stuff
It was on sale for 50 percent off..so 15 dollars..but originally would have been 30...your right it would make a good ice fishing rod
Pizza crust flous has ALLOT less Gluten in it and CAN affect your recipe if they use a different type of flour. Just FYI
Thanks
You test them in saltwater??
No..but the man I got the recipe from did and said it does well in saltwater
@@fishingmisty thank you very much I appreciate it from my heart
That looks like one of those places you just never know what you might catch. Nice job!
Thank you
You a dragging them in
I got alot more just didnt put all on video..lol
Hey im from hazard kentucky. Would you wanna collab? Im just now getting started on youtube we paylake fish alot but wanna venture out to rivers and lakes. We dont know much about river fishing but would love to collaborate and make a banger video together ❤❤ please reply My channel is- Hazard Kentucky Fishing & More.
Great video! Got my sub 😎 Look forward to more 💪
Thank you
Got 15 fish down there last week, 2 SM bass, 2 skips, 11 white bass further down
The fish are definitely biting..
Yeap almost got to be a mountain goat to walk around down there. I don't go there anymore
I just saw a guy fall yesterday down there. I wish they would fix it like meldahl, dam.
Try adding the YUM AFTER you dissolve the gelatin. Heating the UM to a boil? is destroying the scent molecules. Which will render it ineffective to the fish smell wise.
Good idea, I will try that and see the outcome.
That’s a Nice one
Thanks
I was down on the river today went up pass your fishing spot. Fish there about a hour and figured i would go down below twin to get out of the wind when i went by your fishing spot a big i say a big tree fell over at your spot, might have mess up your fishing dpot
I'll have to check it out. Hopefully, the tree brings more fish and doesn't mess up my spot. The Ky River changes so much each year. Every time the river goes up and down, something new appears. Sometimes it's for the good and sometimes for the bad.
Hi could you please link the original video you found this from? thanks
I would have, but i couldn't find it anymore. It's been years ago. But i will look again.
all good, Thank you@@fishingmisty
I subbed you keep up the great work
Thank you
doesnt that just disolve in the water
Actually, it doesn't, but a few other subscribers suggested that i put a layer of cheesecloth in it. And that's a good idea to make it stay on the hook better. But when i fished with it, i never had an issue. I fished the Ky River with it, and it stayed on the hook for the whole time.
I hope you land a 50+ this year.
Thank you..you as well
nice
Girl you need to wear the mud off that bank fishing. Use to dig green worm there when i was a youngin and fishing there. It was before i turned 16 and I'm 65 now. My dad and uncles and cousins used to fish there. I've been subbed for about year now. Hope you catch another big one there like you did last year.
Thank you. I actually like fishing off of the bank more than i do the boat. But it's hard to find good spots nowadays. No trespassing everywhere. When i was younger, you could just walk the river bank or cut through someone's land to fish on the river bank..not anymore.
Thank you👍👍I subscribe.
Thanks for the support
Try pouring 1/2 in, add cotton gauze or thin burlap, then add the other 1/2. Stays on hook
Thats a great idea..ill try that
Can i use on Beach fishing ?
Yes..i actually got this bait idea from a man in Florida who used it fishing in the ocean.
Ty
Yeni gördüm. 1 haftadır bu yöntemi araştırıyorum. Teşekkür ederim. İçerisine sardalye karides veya konserve balık koymayı düşünüyorum, deniz balığı için. Türkiyeden selamlar.
Thanks for subscribing, and that sounds like a good idea, adding different seafood. I hope you catch a lot of fish with it.
came across this video when I was trying to find the original video I saw a year or two ago that talked about making fish bites/ fishgum. Just can't seem to find the original video anymore.
When I last made this stuff, I used shrimp heads and shells left over after salting some shrimp for bait. Just blended the heads and shells with some water in a blender, then boiled it for a while so it releases all the smell and taste into the water. then strained the solid matter out and used the liquid. (make sure to filter out all particles as they will ruin the gelatin not letting it set properly. If you want to stay on the hook a bit longer, just incorporate a piece of pantyhose in the middle of it, cheaper than cheese cloth and comes off easier when you do want to remove it.
It was fun even through the craziness! Thanks sis for going 😊
I enjoyed it..thanks for inviting me
lets go
This is awesome! This needs WAY more views!!!! I'm just getting into fishing and can't get behind the idea of throwing plastics in the water. Not just the pollution but the lost bits will get eaten by fish and birds and kill them. Just seems about as stupid as can be. So I'm going deep, trying to find recipes that work and hold up reasonably well enough to be used. Otherwise, I'll just start a worm farm and go with nightcrawlers. Just a suggestion; you might try mixing in corn flour instead and adding garlic powder or some fish oil. (Can use the gel caps you take as a vitamin. Just prick them with a pin and squeeze the oil out). Much cheaper than the store bought scents. Thanks for your video!
Sounds like a good idea..thanks for the info
Great video... thx for doing the video!!! How did it hold up to hot temperatures and storage of the bait??? Specifically mold.
I would say only make what you need at the time. mine kept for 1 week out in about 75 degrees, but i ran out before i could see how long they would last.
@fishingmisty ok thx for the reply. I was just curious cuz I live 5 miles from a lake and was thinking about making them and selling them. I made some fish bites like your video and forgot them in the tackle bag for 3 days and they started to mold. Do these gulp worms dissolve in water over time? Also was the hot chocolate mix for color or is it a important ingredient for the recipe?
Just for color..yeah i am going to do a video this fall on the baits ive made and see how they hold up in the tackle ox and fridge..yes they desolve over time but it takes awhile
@@fishingmisty ok cool thank u so much for making the video and for your replies...much appreciated!!!
@@shrimpworms thanks for watching
Does it float?
No
love it
Thanks
Did these catch fish? I use the commercial fish bites and do very well on them, but would be fun to make my own IF it works the same to catch fish!
There is a guy who lives in Florida that i got this idea from..he has caught many fish off of it..but as for me i made that back in the winter and never got to really try it out the way i wanted to..im about to do a video on all the bait ive made and test them out in the fall..so keep an eye out for it.
Please don't use glitter. It ends up in our food and causes a bunch of issues in the water. Other than that I love this idea.
I'll keep that in mind..im sure they make an edible glitter, but i would have to google it.
@@fishingmisty I remember a story about glitter and how it shows up in crazy places. England was talking about banning glitter unless it's biodegradable.
@comfortablynumb9342 That's crazy. I've never thought about it..but ill be more mindful of it from now on.
Hi any videos on you catching fish on this homemade bait
Yes i have a video catching fish with the homemade gulp worms and a video with the carp bait..but the other baits i dont have videos for them..it was around winter time when i made them and i never got to fish enough with them to see how good they work...im going to make a video soon on those baits and try them out in the fall.
I have used the torn up plastic bass worms and quartered them lengthwise then cut them into about 1" lengths julian style and caught plenty of bream. with the same one bait.
I agree. I think you can catch fish with many different style bait
Need to get back down there at perr Park em cat bitting good
My brother has been fishing almost every day, and the only thing biting is turtle down here, lol.
cant wait to see it
lets go
Wheaties makes a good dough ball for carp just crush a handful up in your hand and dip your fistful of Wheaties in water and squeeze in and out till saturated and then squeeze out all the water.
Ill try that one day..thanks for the tip
🎣 nice 🐟 fish 🎣
🎣 interesting baits! 🎣
🎣 you mentioned adding cheese cloth! ... I add Natural cotton pieces into my dough bait sometimes! ... 🎣
Im definitely going to tey that..thanks
Do you eat carp
You can.. but i dont. Supposedly, a lot of bones are in them.
Whats the bait u have made
It's a carp bait. I have a video on how i made it if you want to check it out. Thanks for watching. Just go to my channel and go to videos, and i think it's like 3 videos back.
@@fishingmisty thanks misty
Your welcomed

Sounds good..we will definitely get together. I would say after it cools off some. Not much biting because of the heat.
