Testing online multiplayer mod for Super Mario Galaxy. This session had 3 people, but unfortunately, there is only footage with 2. The mod currently can support 8 simultaneous players.

Apologies for the poor recording quality. My testing partner forgot to record audio, and I did not have a capture card ready (though I should be able to use a capture card for future recordings).
Currently, the multiplayer mod only draws Mario on the screens of each game client (and does a poor job of even that). In the future, there should be more coherency between game clients, and I have a list of interesting mods to make to the game mechanics themselves.
This mod runs on both unmodified Wii consoles and Dolphin.
This mod depends on projects from Luma's Workshop/SMGCommunity (github.com/SMGCommunity). WiiBrew (wiibrew.org/wiki/Main_Page) and Yet Another Gamecube Documentation (www.gc-forever.com/yagcd/) were very helpful references in the creation of this mod.
For those wondering how this mod is distinct from earlier multiplayer mods, this one allows multiplayer over the internet. Prior mods do not. This has one especially interesting advantage: each Wii independently contributes to computations. This means that online multiplayer mod should not run into the same resource constraints that earlier multiplayer mods ran into, allowing for more players and actors (though note that network resources still do not scale).
