9.03.2022, Bandos Maldives, Dive spot : Potato Reef. Second dive today. Sunny and perfect weather and current conditions. Average depth ca. 13.5m, max 21m. Lots of turtles in this area, plus very nice coral reefs and a lot of underwater life.

Bandos Maledives, on the 9.03.2022 we have visited the Victory wreck - a cargo ship that sunk 41 years ago - or rather - hit the reefs so hard that it wasn't salvageable and it was decided back then to sink it near the Maldives Airport. Depth ca 30-31 meters, slight current that is why we have kept close to the ship. A lot of motorboats in this area that is why you can hear their noise.

28.02, Scuba diving with the wonderful Bandos Diving Team. Bodu Hithi Thila. We were very lucky to meet not one but two mantas! Ca. 18 meters deep, stayed at the bottom to observe the mantas enjoying "free" bubbles and circling around us :-) Improved quality because I am still learning video processing... but now I think I've got it finally!

First "real" dive after nearly three years break. Was I nervous ? Sure. Was it fun ? Definitely! Reef shark sightings, big tuna and a lot of other smaller fished. 26-02-2022, Bandos Maldives.

25-02-2022, Bandos Maledives, snorkling at the islands reef. Tryout of the new camera (without the red filter). Minor color corrections were necessary but overall - quite good quality. And Bandos is a dream come true.
