I remember having the opportunity to watch SCV rehearse this show before a competition later that day. Something I remember every time I hear the mellophone was overhearing the SCV staff in the bleachers, regarding the soloist, say something along the lines of "...but he's such a good musician that he'll make that adjustment on his own."

With such a rich hornline tradition that the Cadets had, I do not say this lightly…..this may be the best one they ever had.

This was such a good show, I don't see why people say it was a miss.

Love this show so much. Still blows my mind that they sounded like this that year. If you didn't know the show and just listened to the audio, you'd be like, "Oh, that's Cadets duh." It made it that much more epic.
