Gravity rush is literally the epitome of underrated gem, it has so many good qualities and the creators obviously care about both the series and the fanbase, they literally added an entire skill tree for kat in the second came to deal with player comments about her non gravity normal attacks

Watching some one play Gavity Rush on youtube got me curious about the series. Now fast forward to 2023, i got a PS5 and got into the whole Gravity Rush Series, I became a fan and felt love from the characters❤ I hope Gravity Rush gets one more chance out of something in the future. My a team can make a game simular to it.

heart breaking how we don't get games like this anymore, sony didn't even bother with a 60 FPS patch for ps5 or a pc port to steam, I feel like publishers have zero faith that a game can acquire delayed success, even though we've seen games ported to ps5/pc get a whole new life, look at Ghost of Tsushima, sold a fuckton on steam despite being almost 5 years old when it arrived. amazing video dude, and your analysis of the ending gave me a new perspective. subbed!

It seems to me that Alan Wake is somewhat an alter ego of Sam Lake, as both are responsable as writers for the worlds of the Remedy games - Lake in the reality and Wake in the fiction. So it also does not surprise me that Lake put himself prominently in Wake-2 and both sit on the same couch in the talk show. Maybe the connection is that Lake feels that writing stories is what saves him psychologically and Wake's writing keeps the character alive and somewhat sane and aware.

I remember sitting in the cabin and hearing that one guy complain about mullet time and his editors asking for it all the damn time for several minutes. Made my night, and why I love remedy. Not afraid to be creative, and not willing to milk their games into ruin

Omg this is what I thought. I think alan wake 2's story and even development is meta.... I love how it shows us remedy's journey, how they struggled, how they were corrupted by the darkness... Alan Wake's writing was corrupted by the darkness, but he was forced to keep writing... Remedy's Alan wake 2, the game, it's corrupted by big corporations like epic games, the darkness of alan wake story in reality is the wokeness that remedy was forced to apply, they had sweet baby inc wokewash their game, the story... So all this makes me very intrigued to find out how the story ends... I really hope remedy gets a good ending. I'm gonna find out how alan wake2 ends in a day or two. I hope it will have some answers and more parallels I can draw.

Maybe I'm overthinking it... But when MI demonstrated how to hold hands with a friend in game and then irl... It highlighted the disparity between friendship/relationship mechanics in a game vs. In real life... a disparity which within the pandemic has felt particularly bittersweet. We may press a button for Yorda's hand... but perhaps what we're really reaching for is companionship. Much food for thought.
