Very nice! Personally, I still prefer Kazuhito Yamashita's version on one guitar. A poor quality video exists th-cam.com/video/jQ5FJS5aVAM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=En7CZA5H_xHjrm_i
Hahah this arrangement is so much fun! Fantastic work from the Quartet! (And it is easy to forget to appreciate what a well-crafted work this is by Liszt - its ubiquity can make us take a lot of the great melodic gestures, the call-backs, the playful rhythms for granted - in fact this music was pretty "out there" for the 1850s.)
The issue with the guitar is the volume is too low, a guitar can't compete in loudness with a violin, let alone the brass... The amplifier makes the guitar sound unnatural, it feels lie being inside the guitar it's weird. That said i would love to have a guitar section.
@@davidcia this is true, if only historically there were architectural adaptations to compensate and enhance the acoustics for guitars. Theatres were and are of course built with that in mind, but for guitars in orchestras would be really cool if possible; still wouldn't be feasible as even attempting that would ruin the acoustics for all other instruments in the ensemble of the orchestra. Welp, these are my ramblings for the day
As one who grew up playing classical (and other styles of) piano, I know quite a bit about music, and I too am appalled by some of these comments. These gentlemen are truly master musicians, and I would buy an album of their music in a heartbeat. I live in the D.C. area but am from SoCal, and I would definitely take the opportunity to see them when I am next in LA.
hhhhh this is somehow weard for me, it is the first time for me to get the chance to talk to someone starting his day when I getting ready for bed but I really like it
Tom & Jerry 😂🎉🎉🎉
Marvalous interpretation of an all time masterpiece composition.

Real music by real musicians. Why do I seem to hear echoes of Spanish music?
Wonderful musicians! I was lucky to have seen them before Andrew York left.

Un po' troppo sporca. L'esecuzione di questo brano, per sua natura, deve essere perfetta e senza sbavature.

Fantastico arreglo!!
Pathetic compared to piano (real version)
Where is the great Anisa Angarola ?
This is why I believe symphony orchestra need a guitar section. Guitars add a whole new dimension to music.
Listen to the 1984 Dune movie soundtrack
It’s by the band Toto and it’s really amazing

Eletrizante!
I am amazed at some of the comments. They obviously know very little about music.
As someone who knows very little of music, it's more that they're trolls, or a certain type of idiot

Why are you amazed by this? Do you know much about atronomy? About anatomy? About every single thing? Why should they?
@@KitsuhROBLOX so you're telling me you have to know more than a little music to express your opinion/comment on a music video
@@KitsuhROBLOX it was an example dude...

Those grace notes doesn't bother me in guitar contrary to piano. Also much cleaner notes in general. Love it. Piano has its pros too of course.
THE BEST GUITAR QUARTET .
Beautiful masterpiece
