Would be so awesome if we could do something like this in the United States! I think that the closest we got to something of this magnitude was the side-by-side running of Nickel Plate Road 765 and Pere Marquette 1225 during the 1991 National Railroad Historical Society Convention in Huntington, West Virginia.

Some of the best steamer footage shot for quite some time. There is a wrinkled up worn out dollar bill in the ticket conductors purse, and it's all yours. Lol. Those guys were working hard trying to pull those back, and speed up, and keep them together, somewhat. Start at 9:45 is a good shot, with the #2 track catching and blazing between the two, shoveling coal!, Spitting sparks!. I need to buy that ticket to The Land. Have a fresh piece of Grouper cooked on a hot rock!. A College buddy is one of the Lead Project managers for GE Loco division in Texas, and he survived the buyout in 2019 here in the states. He is in charge of redesigned and updates for the new stuff and Engine dyno work. He keep telling me to make the trip to Aus with him so he can check on his product.
