Thank you for this test you did 4 years ago... I just bought the x5 a as my first detector and im getting a lot of fun with it... a bit confused about the balance function because i know what to do but dont know when its already balanced, it does "beep beep" when balanced?

You should do more product reviews, I might buy something, though for pin pointers I stick with the mi4 as its rechargable

Might it not work better with stainless steel pellets?
I have this detector and still yet to find a coin, get good readings and it's always junk. Not sure what I'm doing wrong but it's disheartening to keep finding junk

I started with a Garrett pouch. It worked but did not last long. Upgraded to a Relic Elite pouch by Omega Mill. Absolutely love it. Has a spot for my hand digger and pinpointer. The mesh bottom lets dirt fall out and it has plenty of zippered pockets.
People say parts wear out easy anyone had any trouble with this detector.

Great comparison video💯 I like HOTDAWG's comment on the Gray Ghost for land hunting. That would be my choice too👍 I don't have a finds bag, I have always used my large fanny pack but I need my digger & pinpoint holder. Thanks for the video!

I have both the FCMD pouches. Just bought the newer larger one. Looking forward to using it.

Best pouch is the Gray Ghost Ultimate, I use mine when I'm land hunting and there's so much room it's awesome!!!

The best pouch I've ever had and still use is the Whites mesh bottom bag. LOVE IT! But I am liking the look of the FCMD bag!
The problem with the Whites mesh bottom bag/pouch is the front zipper. White's should have not made that zipper curve into two different places. My zipper broke off so now I only use that pouch for competitions.

Sorry we don’t have small gold nuggets in our area for us to be able to answer that. It certainly finds gold rings

That little gear you found in the beginning looks like part of the roller mechanism on an old kerosene lamp; you know, the part where you roll the wick up and down.

How deep does it go?
Jo Mama it depends on many factors like target and type of soil etc no company will make a statement on depth I can tell you I found dimes at 8” or so

Mine never shuts up and when you dig where it beeps there’s nothing there ever how do you ground balance it
Sam Tate the GoFind has auto track/balance. You may need to change location I found the unit quiet

Tony Nealand yeah it was after a hard rain so it was picking up everything near it mostly junk but a few penny’s and nickel 96% crap but you got check it all or you might miss something

Two very different detectors and comparing them is subjective and just someone’s opinion. It is compact and lightweight and a suitable starter/backup unit
