Wailele Wai Wai HD
On July 14th, 2023, The Vancouver BC based Hula group, Wailele Wai Wai, headlined the evening's performance at the Legendary Kitsilano Showboat.
Under the direction of instructor Yoshi Yamamato, in the lineage of Kumu Hula Maile Yamanaka from the Big Island of Hawaii,
Wailele Wai Wai has performed extensively in the Vancouver area, bringing authentic Hawaiian music, dance and story telling to audiences across the lower mainland.
Established in 2006, Wailele Wai Wai offers an opportunity for people of all ages and cultures to experience the beauty of tradition and spirit of Hawaiian culture.

On August 26th 2021, Arcteryx athlete Mike Foley bagged the first ascent of the Tom Wright project, Spirit Quest in Paradise Valley, Squamish. Foley gave it the grade of 5.14d, making it one of the hardest routes in Squamish.
