At least we know that 'Beebo' isn't at the controls! Any avgeek familiar with Horizon Q400's will know whom I'm referring to! :) Quite the change in scenery between western and eastern Washington--how did you decide on Yakima for your day trip out of all the available Horizon destinations? Assuming you're over 21, its known that Horizon offers free beer/wine on longer segments. Guessing you flew to SEA from MSP on Alaska? On final, your aircraft was just a BIT faster than the parallel roadway! :) Looking forward to your homebound footage. No doubt airfare for a same-day out n back journey isn't cheap! I have some short clips of the Q400 on my channel but were filmed long ago during the electronics ban when one supposedly couldn't use any electronics below 10K feet

By mentioning 're-upload',is this an 'encore' presentation or was there an issue with posting it originally? Filmed in a time long before the pandemic--imagine trying to tell anybody who will listen about what is to come 4 years hence, knowing what you know now! That a/c whooshing noise was irritating--was a momentary relief when it was shut off during engine start--757's seem to be noisy creatures--the flap noise, brake noise. Any idea of how much layover time there was before your aircraft flies back to the mainland? What do you do for roughly 6hrs? No seatback IFE system unless you were able to have a streaming service on a laptop--any inflight service?

My god,man--what were you thinking,coming back to icy winds and piles of snow? Couldn't you have tapped the shoulder of the captain,slipped him some cash and have him turn the a/c westward back to the 50th state? Undoubtedly,having left Kona at 1030 the previous night and now is just after 3pm CT,you must be a zombie at this point unless you grabbed a quick nap on the MSP segment---once I viewed the frozen wasteland that is western Minnesota(South Dakota maybe?) I knew you made a mistake in flying home! Are you sure you wanted to leave the beaches and rain forest? After all,the Booth clan does have a property on Kona,giving up shorts and flip-flops for scarves and heavy jackets--going once,going twice--are you sure? :)

So you arrive at SEA at roughly 630am local time,your body is on Kona time,no doubt its bedtime yet your surroundings say its time to awake and seize the day! As I watching the folks walking up the jetbridge,knowing you have a connecting flight,I thought,"But wait,there's more!"--not something these half-awake passengers want to hear as they stumble along--interesting thought on your part about not wanting to grab some shut-eye on this early-bird flight--not to take the wind out of your sails but how exciting can it be to film a 737 wing while flying over the Pacific Ocean in pre-dawn darkness? Did you this time,find a food source since apparently virtually nothing is offered during flight? 2600 miles OW! Wow!

Food-wise,it's crazy that there's no buy on board,not even packaged pretzels or Biscoffs? I can't offer much pity for you as there are numerous vendors at SEA who would've been happy to sell you their offerings--had I flown their premium class,I would've been upset. Does the Booth clan have a second home or a time share on Kona? I know you've flown here on previous postings,you or your family seem to favor this Hawaiian island--any idea of how much layover time your aircraft has before jetting back to Seattle? What touristy offerings does Kona have for a first time visitor? Any issues with covid testing before entering Hawaii? I would think the state health dep't would require mainland visitors to provide proof of testing before entry

You're not kidding about many empty seats--on your way back to the lav,I was surprised that the rear cabin was empty--I'd guess maybe 50 folks total,FC included--as far as I know,this is the first flight where you have a face reveal(or what I can make of it,camera and mask blocking your face mostly--Minnesota Twins fan as well!) Immense cloud cover over Seattle,have no way of knowing when the captain turned onto final,interesting how the light level changed during descent,thought maybe you would touch down in a pouring rainstorm but that didnt happen--looking at the clouds in the distance at SEA,they remind me of a distant mountain range--you flew from CT to PT,gaining about 2hrs so it was only about 845am when you landed--how much layover time did you have?

"Defiantly" recommend SWA for lower 48 state travel? That's a good,strong view! :) Watching this, months after this was filmed,I have to remind myself that your flight was made in pre-covid times,so it still surprising to see fellow passengers not masked up or social distanced. Interesting how on descent,you're fairly low and the land below is still rural but can see clearly where a subdivision is bumping up against the farmland--had you wanted to ,you could've continued on to Denver or Orange County! No doubt that somebody on your flight was doing just that--seems odd that you were the only SWA arrival for the entire concourse but of course,can only see one side,there may have been other aircraft--so will your brother return the favor and visit you?

Somebody in your family was VERY gracious in getting you to the airport at o' dark thirty--the SWA gate sign indicates 4:33 AM,a full 90 minutes before departure! One wonders how early you got out of bed,put yourself together and on the road. My sense of geography is off,the gradual sunrise was behind you,so am guessing you weren't flying east--not sure where Norfolk is in relation to BWI--was surprised your flight number ended with just this short flight,was expecting the FA to announce the next stop for your aircraft,something I look forward to for any SWA trip reports

Upon pushback,the sky didn't look too friendly,was hoping to see the lakefront and flying EB,Lake Michigan but the thick cloud cover didn't allow for that--As you began your initial descent,it was 'Bye bye blue sky and sunshine!" Again, the cloud cover was thick,I was thinking,"How much darker can the sky get?" then your camera magically lightened up the clouds,making it not so threatening. Did your brother meet you at the airport?

Imagine time traveling to this particular date,trying to tell folks that a pandemic is coming,face masks and social distancing required on the airlines,over 300,000 Americans dead of the coronavirus--"Covid-19,what's that?"--are you the only Booth family member to live in Minneapolis? I haven't seen my family in 6 yrs,they live in AZ,two states away,have aging parents,so my goal is see them sometime this year--SWA is starting service from IAH to several places,may choose them to fly to Tucson--on descent to MDW,how much darker can the sky get? Good catch on that Dornier jet,very rare to see--how much connecting time did you have? Guessing your aircraft wasn't continuing on elsewhere,no mention of it on the taxi in.
