Sorry for the inconvenience. You could set AP mode. When you open the machine, it also has wifi, name is WAINLUX_K8, use your computer or phone to connect it. The wifi password is 12345678.

The only way I could get my K8 to talk via WiFi was in AP mode - following the setup from this video NEVER worked

It’s like what are all the mode (monochrome, jitter, greyscale etc) use for? Also what does interval mean?

interval is a parameter setting, indicating how many lines of mm engraving. monochrome, jitter, greyscale are image patterns, which can be engraved on vellum, and you can see the difference.@@WTF4

The 10W laser head requires a tool to remove the four screws, and the later steps are the same as for the video.

@@karinelechat9815might be a bad laser mine is having to be replaced. Would not engrave the metal that came with it I’m hoping it doesn’t take 6 months to get here I ordered the filter and roller from wainlux a month ago and it still hasn’t arrived .

Yes k8 is connected to home network as is my M1 MacBook. There is no camera icon visible on the toolbar of cutlabx

@@wainlux2023 I use netgear orbi setup where it provides 2.4 and 5ghz on same SSID. My MacBook connects to 5ghz.

Could not use ?~! others are okay. If you don't want to change your password, please consider this mode: The K8 itself contains WIFI, name is WAINLUX_K8, use your computer or phone to connect it. The wifi password is 12345678. Other steps are same(make your computer and software connect this wifi). The IP of it is 192.168.0.1

Yea, that's bullcrap. You can't even use a space. My SSID has a space in it and it gets the same error but every other device has the capability to see that and is okay with it. There needs to be a software update that includes all characters.

We will arrange the shipment soon.

You can unscrew the bottom of the laser head and check out the lens. If it's broken, the machine comes with replacement lenses. Also, lasers can overheat and lose their life expectancy, so our recommendation is to stop using them for 10 minutes after 1 hour of cutting and 10 minutes after 4 hours of engraving.

If it is dirty, just clean it. If you have other issues, you could send the email with more details service@wainlux.com
