Just so you know, the K4 starts at only $23,000 and change. For all the features and functions that you get standard, it’s a fantastic value. Not to mention the 10 year/100,000 mile warranty from Kia. 😁

The ambient lighting appears to be available with the technology package for the upcoming GT line turbo, but I do not believe it’s available on any of the other trims.

There's a few Spanish and a French video of the GT-Line Turbo you can search for and yes that trim does come with ambient lighting

Yeah I actually agree - But none of that matters when it's extremely unreliable and stays in the shop.

@Thesleepy11637 It is reliable. I own a 2017 Hyundai Elantra that has the same engine. My car is almost 8 years old and still runs like it's new. Only people who haven't driven Korean cars in 15-20 years who still have that old school perspective about the brand. Speaking of reliability, have you heard Honda recall over a million of their cars for engine issues? That goes to show you that the most reliable cars still have issues.

Only people who haven't driven Korean cars for 15-20 years think that it's reliable. The irony is that Honda are experiencing a massive recall right now on their engine issues. But no one want to bat an eye on that because people put car brands way too much on their pedestal.

But they're still unreliable

Kia has come a long way. A little behind the scenes to show you how much, they have hired a couple of design engineers away from luxury car brands. One from Audi and the other one was from BMW or Mercedes. I can’t remember which one. These vehicles are doing way better than they have in the past. Not to mention they come with the best warranty in America to stand behind them. If there does happen to be an issue. But to each their own. I get it.

GT-Line models get independent rear suspension. This one has it.

@HoosierAutoGuy that's disappointing, our 2015 Kia Sedona LX which is a base model has power seats. I guess it's KIA's way to force buyer to get the highest trim.

Yes, it has dual climate control

Seltos S does not have dual climate.

Sorry for the delay. I don't check comments too often. lol. But, no, the Seltos does NOT have dual climate control. It does have auto climate control on the S and above I believe. Thanks for the question.

Not sure what consumer reports your looking at. Kia & Hyundai are rated well in Consumer Reports magazine. The Seltos did have issues with its dual clutch transmission thus that was discontinued for the 2024 model and replaced with a conventional 8 speed automatic transmission.
