Neco didn't ask for metre bridge
Yes they asked of constantan wire which can be Potentiometer or meter bridge. So any1 can serve
The voltage increases with length because of the cross sectional area. The cross sectional area of the Constantine wire in the meter bridge is different from the SWG26 Neco give
The Constantine wire is not a problem. The main thing is to know how to connect the circuit.

Great work. But check the instruction given to teachers, the mass on the pulley should be 30g labelled W
The fixed mass is not constant. So i can use 30g or 40g or 50g as the fixed mass depending on the question.

After the connection, the galvanometer deflected at both ends, but I didn't get a balance point on the galvanometer i.e the deflection was stationary on the galvanometer. Please what should I do?
It will definitely reach the balance point. Hope you are moving the jockey from 0cm to get your balance point with that it will balance. But if you are moving it from 100cm it will not balance

And i left it where the maximum current was achieved before starting
It was adjusted before i started the experiment

@@KennethBegold-jp1mw Yes. But after the connection if they is no deflection on both side,you need to adjust it and check again.
The rheostat was not adjusted at any time..does it mean u left it at a point where u get a maximum current
