Hi, my name is Jaden I'm a siren enthusiast from Houston, TX I've started recording sirens in 2018 on another channel that wasn't exactly meant for sirens so I decided to make this my main channel for recording sirens

Took alittle road trip to oklahoma this week! which gave me the opportunity to record Aubrey, TX's system. which is 3 Sentry 16V2T-B's. overall this was a good test. went to Deer park again to retrieve my SD Card from Andy DC because im dumb and left it in his Vixia from last test. I arrived with like 30 seconds to run to a nearby bench to sit down and record and this was the result of that. Deer Park Test their sirens every Saturday At Noon

Went to deer park again for their now 1 minute siren test. I guess they didn't like 30 seconds or something. my first STL-10! this thing was loud as hell and underneath it this thing rattled the shit out of my body. Bayou Vista test their STL-10 every Wednesday at Noon. If you go here I reccomend calling city hall to make sure they actually test it Today's testing time was 12:07PM

As of march 2024 Friendswood has removed all 7 Outdoor warning sirens on their system due to Maintenance cost, the system not being automated, and the sirens being inoperable?? the System has been replaced with Mobile Alert

That siren does not sound good at all. Weird wind up.
Sirens fine. this is a Dual motor Sentry. so each chopper has its own motor. that's why it sounds a bit off. One motor is working slower then the other
@@JASirens Yes, i'm aware of the dual motors, but if you listen to the wind up, you kind of hear a weird stall.

Wondering why you filmed in the dark? Maybe for effect? It does have a gentle chime. After growing up and taking the kids to Mom's house for Christmas, I spent many a Christmas Eve sleeping on the couch next to the grandmother clock. And I don't ever remember being startled at night by the chimes. Maybe that was your intent to convey by the nighttime video...
We have this exact clock in my childhood home, but it has not worked for some time. Not sure why Mom never got it fixed. I seem to remember the hour chimes being farther apart. I could be mistaken, or maybe that was by setting or adjustment. Not sure. We had a friend of the family who worked at Hamilton Watch in Lancaster, PA. Maybe he got Mom a family and friends deal on it. Idk. Unfortunately I have to sell our childhood home now. And I cannot sell this clock. It is too precious. I will give it a home in my house.

they should call the 500-SHTT a 1t22 cause it only has one horn :) it sounds like a 3t22 but with synthysyed
nope. the 2 or 3 in the XT22 stands for the amount of main signals it can do. the 22 stands for the number of horns. so the 500-SHTT would be the 2T1 if you named it in that format
