i'm not a marvel fan (i don't hate marvel but i'm just not a huge superhero movie type of person lol) so i initially had no interest in this show, but decided to watch it once i saw aubrey plaza was going to be in it and after watching the first two episodes got invested as hell. the cast is all fantastic and each of the characters having different magical abilities (divination, potions, protection, etc.) makes all of them super interesting individually as well as making for great and interesting dynamics with the others. alice is my all time fav, she is my girl, i love her, i am the no. 1 alice wu-gulliver stan 🙏🏻. also your comment about lilia being schizophrenic made me laugh lol, idk if you were joking or not (a few other reactors made similar comments so i'm not sure) but her little random outbursts are premonitions of the future. i really like how they did that for her character, it makes it really fun to hear her blurt out seemingly random things and then be able to piece them together in later episodes. same can be said for when she randomly will mention a tarot card (high priestess when meeting jen, three of pentacles after writing down the coven names, there's more in future episodes) because i'm somewhat interested in those types of things so i love looking them up when she mentions them and finding out how they relate to what's happening in the show.

I can't overstate how groundbreaking this movie was for visual effects. To have a fully digital main character was simply inconceivable in 1999. Without Jar-Jar Binks there would be no Gollum, no Davy Jones and no Thanos. It's use of "cyber directing" (combining multiple takes in the same shot seamlessly through digital trickery) was literally never dkne before in a film and is now present in basically every modern movie and tv show. While pushing the bar on digital filmmaking they still managed to make tons and tons of practical sets, miniatures and puppets to the point where this film actually has more practical effects than the entire original trilogy combined. Unbelievable work.

so natalie portmans character called padme is the queen but she had to pretend to be one of her own maids for safety thats why u saw her play diff characters
